I love this mech so much!!! A suggestion if you want to make more gigantic mechs in the future, it’s possible you could make another large mech into more of a quadrupedal mech instead so the four legs hold up more weight. In any case, amazing video as always!

A popular request, looks like I’m going to have to give it some thought.
Pair the Ball join pieces. 2 per joint. It will limit the pose-ability but it might help with the increase in weight in larger builds.
The ammo belt makes sense, because, it kinda looks like an LMG (Light Machine Gun), and LMG's need ammo belt's on them.

You’re right, the lack of peak and black parts make it look like Jorge’s and as others have said the eyes look like Linda’s face plate.
Didn't skip a second. The video is so interesting. A great category that you came up with: Transformers + Mega Chief set. It is really shaping out now when you have multiple of different combinations. Now, one can see variety as well as some commonality between the mechs. I wanted to mention my favorite one, but really can't pick. Each has some special individuality. Thanks for all the work 🙏

Hornet is my personal favourite but you should definitely do a falcon one
Pretty confident you’ll see a Falcon Mech at some point.
As a transformer fan, I can say that the back kibble makes him look like a shellformer. It doesn't make the transformation as clean as I wouldn't personally like it that way. thats just my opinion

You could probably double the ball joints on the legs so they could hold up themselves for the bigger builds
I’ve been thinking along similar lines, just trying to get my head around how to implement it without restricting the pose-ability of the Joint.

Yes to all of the above, I’d also like to do the Frostraven at the same scale as the Scorpion Mech, it would partner up well with the FrostChief. So many ideas, so little time to implement them 🙄

Looks absolutely amazing! Great job! The only thing I would say that's "wrong" (it's not necessarily wrong), is that the arms may be a tad short in comparison to the rest of the body. But hey, building blocks have their limitations. It looks great none the less!

if you want to make the joints hold strength better what about some very thin double sided tape so it sticks or some adhesive that doesn't set to grip it better

Seeing the complete MOC, the shield honestly seems quite puny by comparison, which is a bit surprising since that is a big shield
I love all of it but the head I still think the original is Better

As to suggestions for the next one, maybe a Grenadier Banished Brute from Halo Wars 2 out of the phantom? I remember them being pretty bulky/blocky. Just an idea.

To me, the mix with Hornet and Warthog still the best cause it's look like the original but with some add-ons on it, so perfetcly designed ! The last one has too much grey or black part on his body, and the last but not least: I love some idea of design, but i'm a bit disturb by the eyes placement (yeah it's look like Bumblebee too for me ^^) some other details like the tracks on the legs is maybe too much for me (foot and on the back can be enough for me)
But well, you did what you can with only 1 of each sets so congrats for that, i'll probabbly not doing build that's good ;)
I’m pleased you like the Mechs, the Battle for the Ark Buildable Chief can be hard to get these days sadly. I do sometimes see it on Amazon.com for about $65, it tends to come and go so keep checking.

I have been seriously considering the mechanics involved with making an actual transformer, it would be immensely challenging to make it transform and look good. I resigned myself to the fact I would more than likely have to sacrifice detail but I’ve seen people do it with Lego so it may be possible. I think at some point I will have a go, will I succeed? Uncertain.
And this is just with the parts that come in the sets, what could you do with custom parts 🤑?
Im sure we’ll find out at some point, let’s call that ‘the next level’😁
I’m all for changing the face but I just don’t think you hit the mark with this one. The arms also look colicky small but the rest of the build is spectacular, I especially love the legs. If anything I think a 2.0 of this build could be awesome.

Imagines if the UNSC rather more focus on Mech (not including mantis or cyclops) similar to Gundam Mobile Suits.
It could make a great what if animated series.
Pretty much like that one Halo Legends episode "Prototype". Still leans on power armor, but def hitting that mech inspiration
this might be a tall order, but do you think you'd ever get around to making instructions for each of these haloformer mechs for those that wanna build them?
I created build instruction videos for the hog chief and the wraith elite but those videos took a long time to produce. I would like to create tutorials for each of the other Mechs but time is limited at the moment so I’m not sure when I’d get around to it.
Think you could do something like a Phaeton Armiger for a Forerunner Transformer? I don’t really know if the phaeton set has many special pieces or not though.
I think the Phaeton set would be the best bet for a forerunner Mech, I’m sure I’ll have a crack at it at some point 👍
