“And some people make me sweeter, cuz they make me feel like I am enough.” A few weeks ago I got hit right next to the eye with a lacrosse stick. Left me with a black eye and a pretty big scab. I came into class and my guy best friend who sits a seat away gave me the look of ‘I wanna see’. So I showed him and he gave me funniest face at the moment and held it just to make me smile, even though he could’ve gotten in trouble for not paying attention. The best part is, he knew that it ruined my day and he took the chance to make it better again. It made me feel so special.

This song made me realize how disrespectful and rude I am to myself. I take this as anthem for myself because I feel like the 'me' that I hate needs some loving too.
So Nala, i hope you realise you are pretty solid. Even if you make some mistakes, you don't deserve my hate. Even if that one friend, whom you tried to hold onto doesn't come back due to their issues and the argument you had, I don't hate you. It's not your fault that you met that person, became besties, tried to understand eachother, had some cheerful times, even though you were polar opposites of eachother.
