I still have the movie and Sing & Play on VHS and DVD. There are some other Sesame Street toys in kids meals like Elmopalooza and CinderElmo and Elmo's Musical Adventure The Story Of Peter and the Wolf from Dairy Queen. I have the Elmo toy of him as Peter and when you shake him up and down he makes maracas sounds. And yes the pink grouch girl named is Grizzy
There's also a Follow That Bird Wendy's Kids Meal from 1985, too, as well as the 30th anniversary of Sesame Street from McDonald's Singapore, which has mini plushies of the characters from Sesame Street
I just did some research and the Elmo inside the drinking cup doesn’t come out. The Oscar is just a mini figure but I guess it could be a finger puppet too! The set came out around the Christmas season. On a side note: I still have my copy of The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland Sing and Play (it’s basically a sing along video with songs from the movie). I’m gonna try to find this set myself. Huge Sesame Street fan.

I know Arby's has kid's meal toys but since when did it have licensed toys? Since the Elmo in Grouchland movie is based on an edutainment movie that not a lot of people remember, i thought Wendy's would make toys based on Elmo since Wendy's has been known for making their fast food toys based on more obscure properties.
Well, as far as I know, Wendy's actually released a kids meal based on the 1985 movie, Follow that Bird, which is another Sesame Street movie that features Big Bird as the film's protagonist. You know, with Big Bird being sent to a family of dodos, but he's not happy to be there, and tries to find his way back to Sesame Street with the Sesame Street gang starting a search and rescue mission to find him.

Elmo loves his fuzzy, well-worn blue blanket more than anything in the whole world. His blanket gets sucked into a colorful, swirling tunnel into Grouchland, the yuckiest place on earth. He goes on an adventure to Grouchland to retrieve his blanket.
To me both Sesame Street and Blue's Clues are the two preschool TV series that held up the most of ones I grew up with and are even still fun to watch as an adult.
