    That is gorgeous! The T1s were true works of art. Well except the last few that were plagued with the poppet valve gear that wheel slipped but they are just gorgeous

      The smoke fluid should work no matter what. I use MTH smokefluid with my greenbrier

      For someone who hates the Pennsy T1, I’m surprised you stopped by. Lol. But I’m glad you enjoyed the vid. I’ll defiantly put smoke fluid in it this time, and I may need a tiny funnel they would usually come with, but my model never came with one, since it’s a bit of an oldie?
      But I’ve now fallen in love with this model. Lol

      Skylite Junction they’ve began to grow on me lol. A lot of my previous views when I started the hobby’s have changed drastically.

      Commanding Officer Kanawha Yeah, this T1 is starting to hit me right at home. I’ve had too much bad luck with Rivarossi, and it almost makes me wanna forget Rivarossi and just stick with Bachmann, or Broadway Limited in general. Rivarossi? I kinda don’t wanna bother with very much anymore.
      I’ll still buy them, but I just don’t wanna get anymore bad luck from their models.

    Body is a die cast alloy of steel with separately applied details. The spare driving wheels are to be used if you want to swap the traction tires off with bare wheels.

    I heard that bachmann smoke fluid messes up the smoke units in broadway limited loco's so i wouldnt put bachmann smoke fluid in that

      Hector’s Productions Aw man, the S2 turbine is defiantly on my bucket list. I love to have one by BLI cause of the unusual non chugging sound when all you’ll hear is the turbines roaring. I’d love to have an S2 eventually.

      I have a feeling they’re pretty tough to find now. I can’t hardly find one on eBay these days. I want one with Paragon2 sound, but they’re just so tough to get now

      Ricky Perez It’s not really brass. It’s made of die-cast, actually. It’s my first time ever owning a broadway limited model, so I made a mistake there..

    Nice I've been d err ciding whether to get one or not but I would recommend a dcc system to get access to all the features

      NS Productions 8104 Yeah, tbh, I don’t need a DCC controller that badly to get all the features. Believe it or not, I can literally activate the whistle and the bell using the directional switch. Don’t believe me? I looked at it in the instruction manual, and it turns out it’s all true. So I might put a video out on that eventually.

    That is dcc in dc. You should consider swapping to dcc

      DieselDean Railways I will eventually. You can run DCC engines on DC, it’s defiantly possible, and it’s what I’m gonna stick with for now, but I promise once I get a DCC controller, I’ll defiantly run this on DCC.

      I would try and look at the model as carefully as I can, and if it’s possible when you’re on eBay. Try to read the description and see if the seller is honest. If the description says little to nothing about the item, don’t get it.

      Alco Power I’m using a rail power 1370 controller, and get this. Not only does it chuff, but I can literally make it whistle by using the direction switch.

      Alco Power Nope, I’m running normal DC, and the engine is DCC. They’ll still run together, just as long as you don’t put a DC loco on a DCC layout. Lol. Makes sense?

    under neath the cab of the engine theres an on and off switch very small thats toi turn on ur smoke genarator and if u leave the switch on ur engine wont move ever again and only use ur smoke generator if ur on a dcc track with NCE or digitrax cuz dcc trains will get fucked up running on dc system i have the 2019 t-1

      Ricky Perez I never knew there was a switch to turn on the smoke unit. Now that you mention it, I won’t even touch it if I do find it. But then again, this model may not even have one.

      BN’s Railway and Model Channel Also not to mention the T1 duplex is the only locomotive I know of that has a 4-4-4-4 wheel arrangement. I don’t think any other engine does apart from this one. You will see a T1 in real life once the new one is built and fired up, since all the final examples were scrapped in the 1950’s.

      Ricky Perez Actually, it doesn’t. It didn’t take me long to find out. If it did, it would’ve came with their bottle of smoke fluid. This model was made around the time they decided to put smoke units into their models, so this one, sadly, does not smoke.

      Santa fe Warbonnet Productions Yeah, the T1 would not handle it. It’s only just happy on 22 inch curves. Running it on 18 inch curves would be a big no no.
