    What a great way to start a Sunday, MadMatt followed by Lock your Hubs 4WDing. You know what told me this was a fair dinkum review and not a marketing story?...the graph scale went from 0oC , not exaggerating by showing only the range 10oC to 15oC (ore thereabouts). This is where your videos shine - I'm always left with a sense of trust.

      Thanks, love the PM2 especially in s110v! It's a bugger to sharpen, but stays sharp for a long time.

    Honest review mate... So much so that my Son was watching it too and decided that he would treat his old Dad to one for my Birthday yesterday! To say I was chuffed was an understatement... although i feel he has an alteria motive and an eye on it for a borrow some time... Anyway Cheers bud and I look forward to getting out and about in it. Keep it all up.

    It’s like buying a new car without the wheels 🤣 That’s why I bought the new 23ZERO 1100 Bandit king single at a cost of $440.

    Good fair review...I went from kings to ARB also...and everything you mentioned is right on the money....the poles are an issue...I've broken 3 in 12 months with the ARB Swag...just am more careful now when setting up...I use in the tropics and more airflow would be better too....and yep I had to buy a bag for it and the bag doesn't have a zip.....thats another story

    • @LockyourHubs4WDing
      @LockyourHubs4WDing  Před rokem +1

      I think there might be an issue with the later poles, I've also got a 5year old double ARB and never had an issue with the poles.

    It ticks a lot of boxes however being able to sit up would be nice

    Tested to Australian standards?.... Towed with a person inside behind a Holden Maloo ute doing circle work at a B & S ball.

      @BenMitro Před 3 lety +1

      No more Maloos or anything Holden now (GM - filthy lying arseholes)...not quite the same doing it with a Hilux though is it?

      When we tow people inside swags, we use nothing but 80series LandCruisers!

      @@LockyourHubs4WDing I have modified my swag to Australian standards, I cut the eyes of the zipper pulls so they can't be zip tied closed and removed all tow points that tow rope carabiners might click to in the middle of the night. I also sleep with a razor sharp USMC OKC-3S "pocket knife" under my pillow just in case I need to unzip my swag the old fashioned way.

      I must pass that advice on about cutting the zipper pulls to Matt (The other half of LYH). After Matt unplugged my swag's electric blanket (Don't judge me until you try it! :) ) I tryed to zip tie Matt into his swag, but the bugger woke up!

    Isn't it attached to the stretcher ?

    Interested in the stretcher....what's the dimensions and brand name... TIA

    • @LockyourHubs4WDing
      @LockyourHubs4WDing  Před 3 lety

      It's an Oztent branded single stretcher, sorry don't have dimentions.
      Matt has since upgraded to the ARB single stretch and likes it a lot more as the cross bracing doesn't let it move around when you do in the swag.

    Hi from Africa, nice review. I've no experience at all with swags, If travelling say a family of three or four and each person has one, is this not very bulky and heavy option?

    • @LockyourHubs4WDing
      @LockyourHubs4WDing  Před 3 lety

      Most manufacturers offer a single and double version of most swags. I understand they're not very popular in other parts of the world. Though they are just as popular as tents here in Australia.
      I also have a tent (Oztent RV5) though usually if heading out on my own, usually just take the swag. The main advatage is that it's all rolled up in the one unit. Tent, mattress and sleeping bag all in one.
