  • Here’s a short virtual tour around 𝙏𝙤𝙠𝙮𝙤 𝙎𝙠𝙮𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙚®, the tallest tower in the world.
    Accessing Tokyo Skytree:
    * Train to Oshiage station (Skytree)
    * Shuttle service from Tokyo Station, Ueno-Asakusa Area, Haneda Airport, Tokyo Disney Resort
Opening hours are 10 am - 9 pm and the last entry time is 8 pm.
You can buy your ticket in just minutes through the self-service ticket machines. I got a combo ticket for the Tembo Galleria (450 m high), the highest point you can go to, and the Tembo Deck (350 m high). The ticket cost me ¥3100 because I bought it on the day and it was a weekend but if you book in advance and you go on a weekday, you could save up to ¥400.
Alternatively if you only want to go to the Tembo Deck, you can buy that ticket separately for ¥1800 if it is during a weekday or ¥2000 for a weekend ticket. If it is a same day ticket, once again ¥100 will be added.
This deck is in three layers if that term fits, so you can go to the 340m mark, 345m mark and finally the 350m mark. At the 340m mark there is a glass floor that lets you see what’s below you!
Although this tower is famous for its panoramic views from the observation decks, it serves a far more important purpose. Tokyo Skytree is in fact a radio tower and is the primary television and radio broadcast site for the Kanto area.
