Yes, the plaid blanket is very old. I'm 65, and i remember my mom got one and got me one with green stamps i still have both. You would get a book, and when you got stamps, you would lick and stick your green stamps in it when you got it full. You could get things the more books you had, the better the gifts!! 🧡💛💚

They also had goldbond stamps, too. My mom did the same thing. We collected them and got things with these stamps.😃💗🙏

When I saw the kitten print I thought I'd grab that if I were there!. It reminded me of one that my grandmother had in a bedroom when I was a child and it was old then. Love plaids, too. Always a fall favorite of mine.

I had been given place mats like that at my bridal shower 39 years ago! I took them to Goodwill because my kitchen color changed when we built our home 20 years ago. Enjoy them! Love your thrift finds!
I recently found a vintage mug at the Goodwill. I looked it up and it’s worth $30. I gave 50 cents for it. I’m keeping it. I love the quilt!

My great grandmother bought my mom a plaid blanket very similar to yours in the 80s. She did all of her shopping through mail order catalogs. I believe it came from Montgomery Ward.

Hi Maranda, one of my favourite things were your vintage kitten picture! It is so precious and beautiful. And I really liked the quilt that you found as well as the quilted vest. I am always on the lookout for a vest like that, they are very hard to find here where I live on the Canadian prairies. I loved seeing how you used everything, especially how you styled the big shirts with other clothing, some styles are ageless. I enjoyed that very much, please do it again.

Really loved your video I'm like you I never buy new stuff not when I can go around the charity shops hear in England I went yesterday and I got 9 painting a fabulous thow for the bed and a lovely little pot for the windowsill and every think cost me 21 pounds and ill be doing it all again next week. It helps the charity's so I'm happy to shop in eny charity shop Carol in England

Love the plaid bla net the colors are so rich. You've inspired me to buy some plaid. I used to wear plaid paired with jeans and hiking boots when I was younger( of course with my very berry lipstick).
Recently I got for $2.50/the movie Pride and Prejudice ( with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehl) the movie is eye candy for my English.cottage heart. I also picked up a straw purse that will.stand without support.
