He is just taking a break to explore his interest. Thats not retire. And his designation was director on his most recent corporate employment which means he should have earn at least half a million usd a year and he have worked for past 15 years and his wife also working. Obviously he has strong sustainability background to take this break that he could afford. All this not count his other income potentially earn from side hustle, biz, real estate if any. So its not like his not generating any money after his recent job. He stil earning by just switch mode from corporate employee to social entrepeuner

The housing market depends on how the tech sector is booming in the region. For example we got a house in Seattle 4years back and the price now has doubled. Since the equity market is down, we are pulling out the money and closing our housing loans quickly as this is the best time. Once the market starts picking up, we can start investing money in shares again.

Aiming to get out of the rat race at the age of 36 :) Strategy: Did MBA, got into Data Science and moved abroad for work. I will move back to India at 36 and lead a simple life while doing something I love.
When you reach 36...you will have different priorities and you will continue the same rat race....

But still I started my side hustle (Organic Farming in US with my family support) two years back while working fulltime in IT. This kind of experience would give me a better opportunity few years later to do it in full time if I decide to retire bit early when my financial situation gets better. I can see lot of improvements in my energy level and satisfaction in my life with that hard work going on the side.
I just want to know something, Can u interview some aged rich people , how do they feel abt ageing even though they have money, what r lesson they r giving ?

It was an interesting video, thank you. But if we save& get interest out of the savings, we have to pay taxes for that income in the US. US taxation structure is such that every cent we receive is taxed. Even Social Security benefits are not spared. How can one address this? Please advise.
