Wow, super stoked you guys got to review this!
One of the best things about your videos is that on your "trails" you only need to move over 10 feet and it is a substantially differently route. You create may different trails for most user's challenges! Keep 'em coming!
Whether it's a pickup, or a suv, the Raptor never disappoints!
too wide to go on many off road trails.
@@pizzasaurolophus 2 wide to fit in my driveway lol
cept for those ugly ass fender flares.
at least it looks ok on a black one.
@@pizzasaurolophus that’s the go-to negative thing to say from all the jealous jeep girls
@@CoyoteFTW you mean people who actually go off road?
the best review honestly and I've watched literally every video of these on youtube
"Because Bronco: it don't care."
😅🤣😂
Great line. Thank you.
Usually used line for anything that tromps things easily. Often said about the Ram Power wagon.
Great video as per usual
I saw one in person after waiting on my wife’s Bronco Sport to be serviced. My gosh, what a great looking vehicle. And I own a Rubicon Gladiator. The dealership had one in this sage green with gold flakes in the paint. I fell in love. And the fenders were painted in the same color. Just gorgeous. But at $93k that’s just a bit much. You can get these for around $80k if you look at a ‘23 model.
The stance, the height, the huge tires, the engine, it’s got such a presence. It just looks like it could go anywhere. Perfect Doomsday vehicle!
I’d like to see you take the defender on your off-road course
@Excalibur Yklz I think Zach was being facetious!
@zach he needs to take a team with him to bring him back in that case...
@Excalibur Yklz I would only ever get the original one, but that’s after I die with all Jeeps in my life.
Love this vehicle. *Best high performance off rd SUV ever* . Just put an order in w/my local dealer. Will wait as long as it takes. Optioned out exactly like I need. 👍 Black on Black! Home run Ford Motor.💯
Awesome enjoy!
Great choice for a mall crawler!
I got the badlands that just came in. Raptor isn’t worth it and u lose a lot more mpg. I’m happy with the 2.7 and with all the packages minus Sasquatch

this thread has taken a dark turn :(
been waiting for this! 🤗🤗 and after seeing the full review without even skipping a second at 4 a.m , i can clearly say that you've turned into a fanboy of the raptor like me, and why not cause how rockingly awesome this vehicle is! loved the review! keep it up! 🙏😵☺️
imagine waiting a year or more to pay $80K for a car that gets 15 mpg.
Ryan, If we had half as much fun watching this video as you had making it then.........🤩
good get on the raptor, great episode!
Great Video man.. ❤️
Love that color too
Love it! Question, did the Forester Wilderness do that trail in snow, looks familiar to this trail👍
Super cool Ryan! I am so jealous.
I love all your reviews..
great review like usual.... only thing is I've heard people complain that the normal bronco is too wide, now look..
Great vid and a fine machine for off roading.
Those doors on the back might be a pain but I can tell you right now with my Cherokee lifted , the gate hits my garage door just about when the garage door is up.
you're right though you should be able to do it either way.
Awesome video!
Hey Ryan, I really like the looks of the new Bronco. But I REALLY miss the 96 and older.
My step brother bought a Bronco new in 79. He still drives it. It has a 302 V8 with a 4spd std transmission. It’s yellow and white with tan interior.
A few years ago he had a frame off remodel. It’s a honey of a Bronco.
I had a 96 with the 4.9 liter straight 6. I needed a lot of low end torque to tackle the terrain that I needed it for.
It’s too bad Ford won’t bring back the 300+ K mile Inline 6. They didn’t have much hp, but a Ton of low end torque.
I’d put mine in “granny low” and it would go anywhere.
Anyhow, another Great review.
Thanks !
The new one Is lite yrs ahead of any previous model. Frame , suspension, features & excellent Gen2 TGDI Ecoboost powertrain w/F150s 10spd super smooth tranny. Get one you will love it!
The Gen2- 2.7L V6 TGDI motor is very powerful & proven.
@@Davido50 I would but my situation has changed since then. My wife has an Outback and I have my Rav.
Our pickup is a 11 Ford Ranger XLT super cab 4X4 that we use for work around our property. It only has 34K miles on it.
It has the 4.0 V6. I’ve added a K&N intake and a 3 inch Flowmaster exhaust, air shocks so we can haul heavier loads.
It’s our 4th Ranger. They’re good little pickups.
We had a F150 reg cab long bed, but it wasn’t a 4X4, so we sold it when it hit 250K miles.
THIS BLACK ON BLACK LOOKS AMAZING
Great review. I want one
I Love It When These Off-road Rigs Are Taken & Tested In Their Natural Environments(Where They R Purposed For),Unlike Testing Their 0>60 Time Or Dragparisoning Them. Thanks
W0W!!!... This Vehicle is Monster Loved it.
Amazing vehicle. I must have one! $900mo vehicle pymnt be damned.
So worried about snakes and an unused field.... But Cameraman is sitting there up the hill, waiting for him to Hurry Up.... Lol 🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍
You are lucky guy, getting to drive some of my dream vehicles.
The Wrangler 392 has it beat in the exhaust note department. The 392 exhaust burble is absolutely glorious.
Junky jeep isn’t in the same league as a Bronco Raptor no idea why there’s always the comparison.
Great videos..can you please make a videos of bronco vs defender
What an awesome vehicle
Ryan...you know I love the channel, but this vehicle on that course was boring lol. Definitely expected you to challenge the Bronco Raptor a little more!
Yep, a black diamond with a rear locker could’ve done the same without issue.
@@fullspeedfordbronco Yup easily but Bronco Raptor Is a bad ass beast.
He loves the Bronco Raptor! Then again who wouldn't? $1000 p/mo vegicle pymnt be damned ..I'm ordering this super Bronco! Will be my forever vehicle. Ford Motor nailed this vehicle just like all there trucks.
I agree however he notes that this is a loaner from a dealership and if you put yourself in his shoes would you want to be liable for a $75,000 vehicle? I’m sure there are bigger channels on CZcams that can afford that liability and those channels can either buy the vehicle or can afford the risk in showing how it truly performs off road. At least that’s how I’m interpreting the direction they went with this video. Correct me if I’m wrong.
Way to much usage if electronic aids where they were no where near being appropriately needed.
I love this car. Amazing place
"The BRAPTOR" that sounds badass.
Definitely a collector Truck 🛻
Yes, but alot will be sold just like F150s Raptor! Amazing vehicles both F150 & Bronco versions. Home run Ford Motor!
What a shameful waste of a concept, the "collector truck"
Somebody had an extra bucket of fun that day.
I believe you can add Adaptive Cruise Control on the Raptor. It’s part of the Lux package.
I really enjoy your channel and just wondering if there ia chance of reviewing / seeing Rivian R1T Review from you? Please? Thank you.
Nice choice in music. @7:18. I'm a huge fan of the BPM station.
Nah. The highway is where it’s at my brother. If not the highway then it’s Howard stern FTW
I’m confused why he thought a grassy hill would be a problem for this beast. But love the car and thanks for the video!
He used the bronco on the only feasible course to which he had access, given the time, date and location loaner parameters the dealership provided him.
If he was provided this bronco at a different location, and had more time allotted, then he could drive this into the forest etc
I want one of these so bad 😂 exactly like that too blacked out and lifted
Advfiberglass said they're working on remedy to that horrendous fender flaps
Daily commute a 15-16 mpg vehicle “I don’t think so”…. Pretty sure he drives a 4 runner haha 😂. I know this cause I own a 4 runner and watched a ton of your videos before buying mine. This bronco raptor looks sick though. My buddy owns a f150 raptor and it is insane. Cool video.
Watching phillipines🇵🇭🇵🇭
Super video
what a beautiful, design
Great review, as always!
Just an idea for you though.....you should have tried your offroad course in just 2wd, no lockers. That alone would have made it outshine every thing else you've taken up there. Or, 4L, both lockers on, and just driven straight up the hillside lol.
So unnecessary to have it in 4LO going up that first hill.
@@vigilantemotors "Rock" Goat Mode did that. That's what the goat modes are for, weekday accountants/weekend warriors.
@@TheBeatenPaths could have done it more than likely in 2WD, at worst 4WD but definitely not 4LO lol
You could probably do that whole course in 2WD without any fancy gadgets....you should take the Bronco back up there and try it if you still have it.
You mentioned wind noise on the highway, yeah my 88 Bronco 2 has that too LOL...nice to know a new Bronco that costs a lot more than my Bronco 2 isn't any better LOL. I'm running the Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S tires on it, they do fine and they are severe snow rated. Problem is trying to find stock size all terrain tires is pretty difficult, I had to go up to 235/75-R15's to get the Coopers...the stock size 205/75-R15's don't offer anything other than street tires, no thanks...I do some back country roads occasionally, and snow/mud issues in the winter so, street tires aren't going to cut it.
I'm not a Ford fan but this is a really cool SUV.
Beaut of an suv! I wonder, can you put a roof cross rack on this, for ski's, maybe kayaks or bikes, extra storage bins or such?
No spot in the back for the top? Sorry for the old reference but like the old camero T-tops had a little cubby they slid into in the hatch.
Wow wow awesome 👏
front locker isn't a new feature only on the Braptor. Badlands trim always had front and rear lockers
I would love to do some Baja running with that that thing!
Probably starts at 130k and you can get one in 3 years
Hope i can get this thing some day in europe
love it
yep... I went with Cooper AT3 4S - used to have the stock Firestone destination AT tires (kinda like K02s). I was very shocked one day with the destination when I slammed on the brakes down hill in the wet. It slid WAY more than I thought it would. Cooper's are great if it rains a lot where you live (I live in Alabama). Right now, with the size upgrade and the change to Coopers it is VERY VERY difficult to lose traction. You can be very very stupid and it just... won't... slip....
I have Cooper Discovery on my 11 Ford Ranger 4X4. They are awesome tires in all 4 seasons. We get 4-5 feet of snow every winter and the Cooper does extremely well.
Ford Bronco #1
@@Doc1855 The new Gen Rangers are amazing. We've had ours 1yr an still impressed! Strong T6 frame. Dana axles. Tons tech & features if you want. Proven Gen2- 2.7L V6 TGDI motor. Super smooth 10spd tranny. It's most popular vehicle in house!
@@Davido50 I’d love to buy a new Ranger, but ours has only 34K miles. Not too bad for a 2011 year model. With the mods I’ve put into it, we get 24-25 mpg on the freeway with the cruise set on 85mph on MT freeways.
I raced a Chevy Tahoe a few months ago. We couldn’t pass each other until his governor kicked in at 105mph. Then I started pulling away.
I’d love to have the 10 spd tranny, but ours only has a 5 spd and 3.55 gears in the rear.
We live in north central WA state up in the mountains. We live on a private road and have to plow and maintain it ourselves. We’re 5 miles from town and the county road is one of the last to be plowed.
Nine of us own a Mtn and that Mtn is right next to the 1/2 Mtn that we own. A Buddy of mine bought the other 1/2.
Watching this makes me realize I am happy with my humble Maverick. I am too tame for the Raptor.
കൊതിപ്പിക്കല്ലേ പൊന്നേ.. ❤❤
Ford.. just before leaving India i owned one, nd I'm really happy about it.
Would love one but I think dealers are asking like 100k+ for one here in Canada . A used F450 Platinum near me with 80 000kms is priced at 130k so I wouldn't be surprised if this was on a similar path
Base MSRP is $99,995 in Canada before taxes. That’s just what Ford set the price at. These specialty vehicles aren’t cheap that’s for sure
According to Automotive Press it's illegal to charge over MSRP in Canada. What kinda dealers are that?
@@gs98999 Wow so the prices are similar to Europe. A Ranger Raptor in Germany costs 101,960 CAD and in Austria 121,073 CAD because of the stupid fuel consumption tax. Considering you get more capabilities out of the Ranger it's not that overpriced compared to it
@@imnotusingmyrealname4566 it is but I know local dealer managers would drive the broncos around for 500kms and then sell it back to the dealership and then upsell because it's a used vehicle . Very common here . The 450 I mentioned was used , so MSRP laws aren't valid
the dollar conversion isn't even near the same so stop confusing people. Thanks to your socialist government
thank u
In a vehicle wonder why the Nav system doesn't allow for topo maps. This could be downloaded from from your smart phone for the area in question or via a connection through a USB connection. This seems like a logical thing for vehicles such as the Raptor.
19:31. You don’t need 4 LO for that hill. I’m fact I’d say a Subaru Outback could go up that. Using 4 LO doesn’t do it any justice, in fact it diminishes it.
Im new to drving and vehicles, does this have a hand break or not needed anymore in thjs kind, new fam here, thanks
My Bronco Raptor will be a daily driver. If it actually gets 16MPG, that's an improvement on my current 4x4 🙂
Can get better MPGs than that ..if you stay off the boost. *Def run a good full synthetic engine oil after break in* . I think comes from factory w/semi-synthetic blend oil. My Bronco Raptor Is ordered. Black on black baby!
Hell yes! I’ll be driving this sucker around when my white one comes in 🙌🏼
All the dealers are telling me no ordering the b raptor.... they just take whatever ford allots them. Am I being lied to?
This seems to be the most in depth review of the braptor.
🔥🔥🔥
Camera good!
We like it
You know, I kind of want a Bronco, but I think it's too fuel efficient and people might think I'm a soy-boy. This solves my problem!
Wow🤩
I like it
Ellerine emeğine yüreğine sağlık süper.
Good
I miss the subaru videos. Cause I love subarus.
Thèm quá
Ford Bronco Rapture: Can you do a video when you remove all the removable parts (convert) and show the camera features, entertainment etc? Please
Nick i have a question for you if you were to replace your suv what would you replace it with Would you consider a Tahoe ? Love ya as always
No
Ford really needs to sell this to AU/ NZ like the F150
looks great! I read on some forums and articles that the 2021 Bronco had problem with water leaking from the roof. Hopefully they've addressed that
I believe it’s a recall. So yes. Could be wrong.
They've fixed that a long time ago, maybe a year ago or so.
My 2017 jeep hard roof has leaked since day one lol
What’s unfortunate is older dodges and fords up to present day only show their potential when the pedal hits the floor. Allowing them to go much farther than the competition. But I understand why you can’t do that.
240 miles to empty ? what is gas tank capacity ? can you get a bigger gas tank like the 36 gallon one for the f150?
Those fender flares look much better on a Black Braptor. It smooths the whole look out a bit so the flares are not as noticeable.
Totally agree. The black fenders with the bright colors just looks so weird and out of place. I have a built up blacked out 4runner so that’s this black bronco is my cup of tea. Looks so good in black.
what a beast. a real offroader. a dream garage would be bronco raptor, 911 turbo s and a daily camry
No, f the Camry. An EV for daily.
@@clearcut6818 model 3 can work, i agree
I have a 2 car garage, Bronco Raptor on the right and Tesla Model 3 on the left.
Why is this kind of good car not exported to China? This is an American car that is really suitable for the Chinese market, and many people will definitely buy it, but it cannot be produced in China. I also want to buy one. If it is made in China, I plan to buy a Mercedes-Benz G, although it will be much more expensive.
💯💯💯
I see a lot of people doing this - and Ryan is doing it too - when you have a button to start your engine, you don't need to press and hold it for 1-2 seconds: it is a button, one quick press and that's it. Holding it down is like turning the key and holding it it but you don't need to do that.
Oh and I want a Braptor! Great video!
Holy shit this! Ryan is such a boomer for not realizing that.
Just a correction: the tires are All-Terrains, not Trail Terrains. There is a difference.
I just missspoke on one of the takes, unfortunately that’s the take that made it in the final. Somehow we all missed it in edit too.
is the wheelbase long enough in the bronco to do blackbear pass w/o flopping on that one section where you're off camber and aimed down hill?
Piece of cake
There’s only one: JEEP!
Comes with Ford's typical undersized fuel tank. It can't even go 300 miles on full tank.
Quite true. It’s a weird oversight for a vehicle that gets 8 mpg when romping on it. We had a Tundra at the same time and it got 400+ miles on a single tank.
At that point they should have just used a v8 like everyone wanted
It's bladder friendly.
??? Their #1 seller F-150’s have 36 gal tanks and go over 400 miles, that’s undersize? Chevy had the small tanks
@@tylerking27 More like the Ford Mustang Shelby GT 500. If one is lucky it will average 14 mpg. With a small 16.1 gallon fuel tank that's only 225 miles of range until completely empty. Those frequent fuel stop sound like a lot of fun.
do the rear seats recline
Only $74K, hell I'll get two LOL
+ $25,000 over sticker markups for every one I've called about. Greedy ass dealers
Blacks the only color I’d get to kinda blend in the ugly fender flares
I’m in the south so black is a no go. Too hot. But that eruption green is 🔥
It's cool... Yep. I'm a Jeep guy but yeah this looks fun. However it's too wide for the trails I enjoy. I dd my Jeep and get about 20mpg highway. It's unfortunate it's mpg numbers suck so bad, really bad.
Them fender flares....ugly doesn't do it justice.
All the people that are disappointed that the driver didn’t abuse this vehicle ….that wasn’t the object in my opinion…
I’d like someone else to buy one of these Raptors and take it out over huge rocks , deep water , steep inclines to potentially roll over etc!
I seriously doubt anyone would do that spending $75k
Would you purchase this over a Bronco Everglades?
This is interesting. Maybe Ford should make a body as wide as the wheels. Would make a great overlander.
A plus side to a wider stance without the body being wider is less chance for body damage when off road! Fender flares will fend off potential hits to the body!
