      Zane Williams the Lakers weren’t good in the 2004-2007 era bc they had Kobe only than got 2 more rings towards the late 2010s but in the mid 2000s they were ok they just weren’t in the second round for a few years

    32 Amare was a monster. Couldn't be stopped by anyone before the knee surgeries took away his one of a kind explosiveness. The perfect power forward offensively.

      Spurs were stacked from 1 to 10 I agree Suns ans OKC were not super teams though. Suns were Nash/Stoudemire (I guess you could mention Marion) and then everyone else.
      Edit: Never mind they had Joe Johnson in his prime too that starting 5 was solid. I'm surprised they didn't take it all. And the heat in 2005 were not a super team Shaq was a few seasons away from getting his hamstrings taken out by the infamous Boston sniper.

      People dont know that NASH was the best mid range shooter of the 00s.
      Only DIRK had a similar FG% from Mid range.

    Nash averaged over 20-10 in both the 2005 and 2006 Playoffs despite injuries to Joe Johnson in 2005 and Amare in 2006, on top of Raja's suspension and later injury in the 2006 Playoffs. Only Nash (x2), Kevin Johnson (x2), and Magic (x3) have multiple 20-10 Playoff runs for 3+ Rounds (Magic is the only one to do it for 4 Rounds in 1987 and 1991)

    The suns had the talent to win a title at the time. Stoudemire was a man child but they never played defense they used to have to outscore everyone
    And everytime they played san antonio tony parker used to torch steve nash and make him play defense and it always threw them off. Stoudemire was one of my favorites in his suns days

      This team was only together one year season 2004 2005. Joe Johnson went to the Hawks and Amare got hurt. They would have challenged the Spurs Heat Lakers Celtics whoever and won a title.

      i remember these days and this scenario. don nelson offense style lacked serious defense and they realized it wasn't enough for championship level after many years of attempt. nash had to go and they needed to rebuild.

      Mark Cuban said his biggest regret is not re signing Nash. There’s an article on it. I’m %100 sure dirk and Nash would’ve won atleast 1 ring maybe 2. Those dudes were dominant af and maybe could’ve gotten more pieces around them if they stayed 🤷🏼‍♂️

    My favorite suns team damn time flies this was Nash’s first season here in Phoenix this was an epic season I remember we lost to the spurs in 5 games those goddamn spurs teams man lol.
    Michael Finley was my favorite Mavericks player he was a former sun he went off in game 2 of this series which was the best game of the series IMO

      I'd take Steve Nash just bc he would go out and be unselfish... he would go drop 25 points on like 15 shots and give you double digit assists every night. Curry is great for the Warriors but he has way higher turnover numbers and a higher assist to turnover ratio so I would take Nash on my team
