I think most everyone who's quiet in real life sees the internet as their little outlet, and sometimes that can lead to heated discussions but a lot of the time I think it can create a feeling of intimacy with friends you make online. I don't know what I would have been doing with my time if I didn't make the friends I did online, all my irl friends are off in other colleges or states and I loved my teachers but I'm always too shy to get in touch with people I knew in high school.
