"A thought with another thought's hat on." I legitimately use that very description when explaining analogies, and people have informed me that it actually checks out.
Do you have to explain analogies often?
@@paxe.j.1723 what's an analogy?
@@Bumafa It's like a thought with another thought's hat on
@@fourthwall1899 that's profound
Jeff’s like “wait, that actually makes sense”
Love his expression lol
Love the resigned incredulity with which Annie says "You're anti-wedding now?" She's so done lmao
I love the way Annie and Troy go from idolizing Jeff and Britta to realizing they're both complete idiots
@@leftenantthunder I'd say they've realized he's a terrible role model rather than an idiot.
"No to everything you both said" is wildly underrated, especially paired with the half-hearted wrist flailings 😂
I just *love* how she goes "I know what it is!" She's almost barking hahaha :3
“It’s like a thought… with another thought’s hat on” is one of my favorite lines of the series. Absolutely brilliant.
"Pro-anti" is genius, lol.
And then she says no to everything you both said 😂
She is pro anti.
"He's the one making bad bridges. That's like me blaming owls for how much I suck at analogies."
one of my favourite lines
The best part is that Britta's explanation seems silly but actually makes sense
I'm so glad they changed Britta's character. The pretty girl almost never gets to play this kind of part, let alone say one of the best lines in the series.
Annie: You’re anti-wedding now?
Jeff: No, she’s just pro-anti.
Britta: No to everything you both said!
Everyone’s delivery is so good lol
One of the funniest lines in television history
The thing I love about this analogy is that analogies aren't always 1-to-1 to the scenario you're experiencing, they can also be artistic representations of how something makes you feel. The most important aspect of making an analogy to someone is that you're understood, and I'd say despite how 'out there' Britta's analogies get, you always get the gist of what she's trying to say. If it looks dumb, but it works, it's not dumb.
😂Perfect analogy to define analogy... Seriously, over the years since the show ended, Britta became my favorite character at some point. She lived in New York.
Did the script say "Jeff is about to rebuke Britta's crazy definition of he word 'analogy' but is mildly pleasantly surprised to find that it's somehow fairly accurate" and then Joel had to express all that in three second using just his face?
Annie's wedding binder is definitely not non-descript, unlike Frankie's lol
Ha--HAA pretty descript!
This video is so good, it's like me blaming owls for how much I suck at analogies!
1:25 Annie being the cutest as always

“That’s like me blaming owls for how much I suck at analogies.”
One of my favorite quotes in the entire show.
That one moment when Britta was the best 👌
Gillian Jacobs was on @fter Midnight with Taylor Tomlinson this week and crushed it! What a joy it was to see her in a current timeline❤
Streets ahead
Abed's reordering always gets me
i always thought Britta had said "its a thought tha thoughts had on"
The end-card kinda ruined the last joke, but still great
This channel doesn't care about Annie/Alison so that's par for the course
@@rubeuspotter1610??
I refuse to call an analogy anything else now
My church is also anti-calico cat
would you explain this to me? is this a joke or something serious?
@@damascoup Shirley lists a things her Church is against and she lists Calico Cats.
@@egon4564 right but why is that the joke? are calico cats demonic? is there something specifically in catholicism that demonizes the calico pattern? or am i just overthinking a very comedically random omission of her church 😭
@@damascoup lol, naw it’s just a joke that church can be anti something with zero logic.
Description should be episode 11 :-(
Abed is so smart
oh thats niceee
overlooked moment:
“You’re anti-wedding now?”
“No she’s just pro-anti”
Oh, Britta ♥♥♥
❤❤❤
Life's too long to spend it with someone else!
Did Sheryl wanted jeans and cats in her wedding?
“I’d like to slap those buns!”
Who among us hasn't felt like they've been "pro-anti"? I know I have.
That is rich coming from two dysfunctional people lol
“You’re anti-wedding now?”
“No she’s just pro-anti.”
“No to everything you both said!”
Cracks me up every time😄
When they killed of pierce and wrote off troy the series became boring
