I have blurred the birth scene because of CZcams, not for anyone else’s sake or because people are “weak”. Reactors have had their videos blocked on the platform because of this scene and I do not want mine to suffer the same fate so I am taking precautions. It has nothing to do with differences in culture or society becoming weaker - it’s literally just so my video I worked hard on can stay up for people to enjoy. That is all.

Totally understand, dear. Isn't it bizarre that the most natural thing in the world, which we have all experienced, is a reason to censor. Interesting times we live in. Love your reaction.

This censorship is presented by american pruderty and twisted "christian" values in a so-called secular state.

What I don't understand is this is uncensored on Rammsteins youtube channel but if a another channel shows. It gets blocked. The CZcams censorship doesnt make sense.

    • @MarkusUbl
      @MarkusUbl Před 27 dny +1

@BloodRavyne it doesn't get blocked yet demonetised. Rammstein don't need the CZcams-Money, but reactors do.

This song always makes me well up. I listened to the Zeit album so much around the time my son was born, it would play in my ears as I sat trying to soothe him back to sleep in the night. Often it'd be playing as he slept on me, refusing to sleep anywhere else. The line "everyone knows the perfect moment" would hit me hard every time because I knew I was there in it, cradling this beautiful child.
My son is now two years old but this song always takes me back to those perfect moments of early bonding. He still likes to have a nap on me but I know there will be a day when that's no longer the case. It will be beautiful to watch him grow but sad to lose those moments to time.

Great reaction Stacey! This one got me emotional too - the video & music is a perfect combination to touch the soul! As others have mentioned - I do find it both funny & sad that images of birth, while graphic, need to be blurred out (for blocking reasons - I understand), but graphic violence goes without issue! Strange society we live in.
Rammstein has a unique ability to say things in a profound way, and put it to amazing music! So many of their songs are like this - so it's always worth seeing the lyrics in English to fully comprehend their message, then sit back and rock out! Cheers!

From what I have picked up from reading articles, we never would have had this song or this album if it weren’t for the pandemic. From what I read, after the album prior to this they had planned on touring for 3 years and then retiring.

Also, that's not the Grim Reaper. They are the 3 Norns of the Nordic legend. They embody "that which was, that which is and that which will be". Translatable as past, present, future. I also interpreted the blindfolds as "we can't see the end of our time", blind to our future and our own end.

In my opinion, probably the most beautiful song the band has created. But the subject matter... The fleeting time we all have left. The fact that it's also natural and inevitable. And the realization that even if we could turn back the clock we'd still end up in the same nothingness from before we existed. The perfect moment is the one we're living right now. I have enjoyed your reactions very much, and so I'm glad you enjoyed this, since it's one of my favorites.

If this will be your first Rammstein concert, it'll change you forever, especially if you're close to the stage where you can feel the fire.
The video uses sand to indicate time, and I find it interesting that the band members reacted differently when they were being hit by the sand. Till was fighting it with everything he had while Richard just kind of stood there and took it. Oliver, the bassist and the one who lost the daughter at the end of the video, had his back to time as though he was choosing not to even acknowledge its existence.
It's possible that the tall black cloaked figures were the Norns from Norse Mythology. Urd (the past), Verdandi (the present), and Skuld (the future). This goes along well with the subject of time. It's not a surprise that this same record ends with a song called "Adieu" which means "Goodbye". The video for it is rather haunting if you break down the meaning behind every one of the visuals and what they mean to you the viewer.

I hope you get a ticket.
My son and me are lucky to have a chance to be inside the dome in August.

First of all, I'm happy for you that you're going to the concert👍👏 enjoy it. Also, watch ZEIT again and really let yourself fall into the video or the song, really immerse yourself in the music. It will then hit you even more emotionally. Personally, I think that the album ZEIT is the best album that RAMMSTEIN has ever released. With the album ZEIT you really have to pay attention to the lyrics. Then you understand what this album is about. My favorite songs from the album ZEIT are ZEIT, LÜGEN & MEINE TRÄNEN

enjoy the concert. just a personal tip from someone who has been to multiple shows of rammstein: dont bring your phone or a camera. not because its forbidden but its a distraction imo. i know it urges everyone to capture as many moments as possible, but for once, leave the phone at home (or in your case in the hotel) and let those 2 hours sink in. its a feeling you'll never forget. and you got good chances to find multicam videos of that concert a few days later on youtube anyways.

You are crying the first time you hear the song and watch the video - believe me I even still do it while PLAYING the song on piano :D It is one of their best songs. For me their zenit was with the albums Mutter and Reise Reise but this is a late high point for the band.
Stacey: Half off topic: if you like the esthetics and sentimal storytelling of the video you HAVE to watch the German mystery series Dark - it puts Stranger Things to the corner by far.

    Hey...
When you love Till's soft or smooth voice take time for my favorite Rammstein - masterpiece "Nebel", German for "fog", it is brilliant....
    Best greetings from Germany...

Since you mentioned you love Till's voice, you should really check out the piano version of "Mein Herz Brennt". (My Heart Burns) Maybe do the original version first followed by the piano version in one video. :)

Death is really a strange thing!
I thought about it a lot lately. The only thing we can be certain of happening to all of us and we all know that, but yet very few are really aware of it. And it is handled like a bad thing, no one should talk about.
I think that's totally wrong. We discuss and argue about other things, which might never happen to us, for hours, but the only thing that's certain, we handle like it is not existing.
To me it is always good reminder, to live my life more intense and consciously.
And I try to enjoy my time here on earth, as long and good as I can, not hoping there will be a heaven waiting for me, after I threw my time here away...
And try to avoid the front row at the concert! ☝🏻😉 Have a good one! ✌🏻
