  • I install Fuso Offroad fiberglass fender flares for my DIY Total Composites expedition camper build onto my Mitsubishi Fuso with custom EarthCruiser CORE 4x4 conversion with 37x13.5" tires.
I made one small hole for a bolt, used two existing factory bolts and one glue-on stainless bolt to mount these large fender flares onto my Mitsubishi Fuso EarthCruiser CORE 4x4 expedition truck chassis in the making.

    VHB tape.

I decided not to use VHB tape as I figured it would eventually loose it's bond due to broad thermal cycling and be difficult to bond between these two surfaces, and if it did fail, it could be dangerous to others on the highway and destroy this flare that may be difficult to re-source in the future, so I wanted to ensure it was a solid bond that could hold up to shrubs and tree branches, and people leaning on it over time, and be easily removable for service or repair.

Looks good! I have mine but they are longer than the OEM fenders so I'm debating what to do about that. Also, did yours have original studs welded on the back of the fender that you cut off first?

@@NomadicMidLife Yes, mine are also longer than the OEM fenders, so will likely trim those fenders to fit. No studs that I need to cut off.
