I remember back in 2017 Elon Musk was saying that there will be a starship mission to Mars in 2023. It's a slower process that projected/expected, but even so, the rate of development is incredible, taking in consideration the complexity of starship. The crazy part is that this is only the beginning !!
With several starship flights scheduled for 2024, ready as can be, history in the making. Flight 3 was more than we expected. The glowing plasma on sharship on reentry was the icing on the cake.
@@valmine7507 Although starship reached orbital altitude, the flight was suborbital (suborbital trajectory). But still, it was a huge success. 2024 is already in the history books, SpaceX backed.
@@GoToSpace_GTS maybe flight 4 would reach orbit?????? But flight 3 is definitely the first starship to do a fuel transfer and to have a payload bay door (which somehow broke)
