I was there for this gig, 13 years after first being totally blown away by The Hives outdoors at Hyde Park supporting Pulp on a sunny July weekend in 2011. Even though I had high expectations this time round, I was still not prepared for the full blistering onslaught of The Hives at the Apollo in 2024. Just unbelievable 😎 Best rock and roll band on the planet? Without a doubt. Best rock and roll band in the Universe? Almost certainly! All bow down before the mighty raw power of The Hives! ⚡️⚡️⚡️

Saw them live here in Ecuador last December. Best live band I've ever seen. They have an unparalleled ability to make crowds go wild. Insane experience!
