where do I buy I
Link is above and here too; www.hangergolf.com/?discount=AFG17
So what if I use a coat hanger in my closet?
Got mine for Dicks Sporting goods.. 80 dollars
The ball at 3:49 scared the sh$t out of me... spilled my beer
Great review, thank you. I was using it for the first time and holy hell was my arm hurting. Glad to hear its part of the process, as if golf wasn't painful enough already. :)
No pain no gain 👍
Legend J Aurther 👍👍👍👍I've done that a few times with this thing
I own this product. Love it so much i went and bought a second one. Realized i was doing things wrong for years. Now time to fix them.
I have seen people mount it a bit differently at the club, up to more 45 degrees CW so you have to rotate the grip to let it touch the inside of your left arm.
Alex, you do great videos. Be cool to see some course vlogs and equipment reviews spiced in. Not sure if that's too much "keeping up with the Joneses" for you but you offer an informative perspective. Thanks for the content.
Thanks for Feedback and there are some planned... Just can't do it all at once:-)
well that looks like a genuinely useful aid!
Good review. I recently bought one, and it has improved my ball striking, and keeping the club on plane.
However- I also developed the "bruise" on my left forearm. Might add some padding
Terry Bowen hopefully won't be bruising for long. Your swing should adjust pretty swiftly:) just don't try full shots for a while. Half and 3/4 7 irons should give you a lot to build upon. Good luck
Crikey Alex at 3.49 you nearly took the camera out lol.
it actually resembled most of my shots :-)
I know right! Close call lol. Was wondering when the first person to spot it would be:)!
Does that link post to the uk ? thanks.
I really want but am lefty.!!!! They have for me??
Alex you suggest the hanger rests against the lead inner forearm. Watson golf between the forearms. Eric Cogorno at 45o. I have one but wish to ensure I start my journey to use this aid the correct/best/most effective way. Help please.
Here’s the thing… it depends on your pattern. Either is correct. And depends on the ckub and the set up. Driver etc won’t touch. 7 irons down will. It again, depends on your pattern
Thanks for the review. Are you using fruit crates for range baskets? - Curious.
Lol no. They are crafted wood boxes with slits made to distribute the balls. They are great actually
Does this help improve hip rotation? I get too handsy and am trying to rotate hips first hands later
Yes it certainly can do
Just bought this aid. When setting it up it looks that you should put the fake clubface in the same position as the real one. However when you do that the Hanger part of the aid seems too far back and force you to set your hands/arms way too far ahead at address to make contact with the lead arm. Seems as if the hanger part should line up with the leading edge of the clubface...but if you do this the fake clubface will be shut by comparison to the real one. Thoughts?
According to the Hanger's website you align the Hanger's clubface SLIGHTLY open to the clubface of your own club.
you are not meant to make contact with the green bit at address
@@joeperez3520 wait, 1 video he says parallel with club face but his websites says partially open? Wtf
@@journeyman291 Got me. I purchased one and the instructions said to have the plastic clubface SLIGHTLY open. Who knows if "official" instruction has changed. 🤔
@@joeperez3520q
Great review and aid tip. However, why does this aid have head fake build in? What does that part of the aid is supposed aid with?
Joe Bold it's to help the vision to connect the hands with the main club face. Just a guide
for the love of god; use correct grammar!!!!
fixed it, hopefully; English is not my strong suit. That out of the door, how about not assuming everyone is a language native and help them instead? There are a lot of people who either do not get thought properly or, like me, have severe issues understanding written language, without investing a lot of concentration. It's not like I do not want to, I just have problems of getting the concept of certain structures and don't get me started on past, present, perfect stuff; that stuff is killing me.
Well said! Hope the golf is improving.
shinzon k I bet you’re a really fun person...
Lol almost destroyed the camera with that flip shot
Joseph Smith was meant to display bad but not quite that bad lol
I miss a lot of shots out to the right when using this training aid. Is it something I’m doing wrong?
In a way yes.
You are leaving it open most likely
That’s a common shot with it.
You need to feel closure of face earlier
Or if you divots are straight right, try ball position further forward
use a coat hanger. golf channel: martin hall
Where can we buy these please Alex?
www.hangergolf.com/?discount=AFG17
OMFG it is $75 for a piece of plastic which costs $1 to produce.
Maybe just glue hanger to club
He switches the position in the beginning of the video from the outside of the forearm to the inside..lol. Almost fucked up.
$69.99 for a bit of plastic what a rip off
Oh dude, I hear ya. I ordered one from Canada, so that's like $90 CAD, then $15 shipping, THEN when it arrived I had to pay another $15 in COD. $120 for this thing! I better win some skins this season!
@@RyanSan89at the end they help you or not???
@@jean-philippetherreault5925 Yes
$70 for a much improved swing for the rest of my life!? Insanity! 🤦♂️
Obviously you don't appreciate the value of innovation. It's not just the item you are buying. It's all the time, effort, and money someone spent to invent, create, patent, and sell it. You could always spend 500$ on a new driver and hope that fixes your issues.
How come knowone ever shows this product being used with a driver?
According to the Hanger's site... "Designed to easily attach to any driver, fairway wood, or iron." Mine should arrive in a few days and I DEFINITELY plan to try it with the driver.
I use it with my driver and hit the most amazing drives averaging almost 300 yards swinging at around 80%. Buy I do have a problem when I take the hangar off where I started snap hooking some drives. I’m hoping with a little more practice it will help my rotation. The key is to start slow, maybe 50% then build up your speed. There are several good videos out now showing it used with the driver. Check out Alex’s newer videos.
I am guilty of flipping
This can certainly help
That hanger looks like it creates a cupped wrist at top which means club face is open. When I see videos of pros their wrist is always flat at top of swing
It does the opposite of what you are saying. It helps create a flat lead wrist.
Man golf is a fools paradise.... Spend 70.00 when a simple coat hanger will to the same thing... Wtf... I guess Rory should put his coat hanger in the closet and buy this deluxe model.... Shit at least when your done with a coat hanger you can hang a shirt up with it. Lol
Rory?! Lol Rory has been playing since he was 2 years old! You haven’t. This will help you learn. If 70 is too much.. golf likely isn’t the sport for you anyway lol.
Malpractice Malpractice Malpractice. Dude. Are you serious? You started you video by holding The Hanger in the wrong position (outside and on top of your leading left arm instead of between your arms. If you’re going to possess the audacity to produce a golf swing training aid review video at least know how to use the item that you’re trying to tell other people to go out buy. Come on man !
