- In this Carnival Mardi Gras Balcony Cabin Tour we show you our entire room on the inaugural sailing of the Carnival Mardi Gras from Port Canaveral. We have a Cloud 9 Spa cabin which also provides access to the Carnival Mardi Gras Thermal Suite. We are totally enjoying this Carnival Mardi Gras Cloud 9 spa balcony and recommend this Carnival Mardi Gras cabin to anyone.

On the thermostat, you can hit the “quick cool” button which will leave the fan and AC running the whole time. It’s the little snowflake button on the bottom
Even when u take out ur card?
I started listening and thought "her voice sounds really familiar." Then I realized that I've been binging your Amtrak travel videos these past couple of weeks. You two give my favorite travel tours.
I kept looking at her thinking she’s familiar. Lol, yes the train vlogs.
Thanks so much, we really appreciate it!
I just realized who she was. It's the couple that convinced me to make some train trips.
I went on the first Mardi Gras the summer of 1972 and our cabin was not yet wired to be used in the U.S. They provided a public room so we could use our hair blowers and electic curlers. So enjoy any new cabin, but back in 72, we still had"FUN".hope to go on the new one some day!
Awesome story, thanks for sharing it!
The fridge is great! Especially for pumping mamas!
I'm glad Carnival stepped there game up. That is a really nice room. No more Shower Curtain. And I'm glad they are Painting all there Ships with that Nice Blue... Good Review
And thank for the TV Tip...
Thanks! The shower door is really nice
Keep in mind, this is an upgraded stateroom. The rest of the rooms may or may not have that, just like the lower classification rooms aren't going to have the Elemis spa product in them. That's one of the things about the Cloud 9 Spa rooms, among having access to the thermal suite included.
@@ryanslemmer5905 No they upgraded all the rooms from the last class of Ship
I can't wait to get on this ship. Looks great.
Great review...straight to the point and easy to understand!!
I haven't sailed Carnival in about 4 years...but I just sailed Royal Caribbean twice this year already....I just booked a Carnival Cruise for my wife, my kid and myself next year for Spring Break...on the Carnival Celebration!
I luv you guys. Thanks for the in-depth review.
Excellent cabin tour. Thanks for posting.
You are so thorough, I love it!
Thank you!
Beautiful Cabin I love Balcony Cabins and that is a Beautiful Cabin Thank you for the tour no I don't put my suitcase on the bed Have a Great Cruise 🚢
THANK YOU for the detailed info on the TV and the sofa, closets, bathroom, etc. very helpful!
Glad it was helpful!
I’m so used to seeing you guys on the train lol. Took me aback for a minute.
You hooked me with the "Stories" preview. I had to see the balcony. You two are good at what you do.🤣
Thanks so much!
Going out on the Mardi Gras tomorrow. Going to be on the 14th deck with a balcony room. Thanks for a great video.
Thank you both for sharing, Both of you have very calming voices. 🌺🧡
Thanks for the info, I'm going on the new year's eve cruise this December, can't wait 😀
I enjoy your very thorough reviews!

Awesome! Have a great trip
Oh wow cruises and Amtrak, awesomeness!!
Thanks!
Thank you - this was a very well done and informative room tour! We'll be on her in a few weeks and I'm going to soak in all of the tips from the vlogs you inaugural cruisers will be putting out. Enjoy your cruise!
I’m going July 2nd 2022 with my fam and friends
Thanks, enjoy yours as well!
Awesome room tour. Thanks
Great Tour! Thank you!
This was a great stateroom tour - probably the best I've seen! I like how thorough you were with describing everything! We are booked on the Mardi Gras for next summer & we cannot wait! I am oddly excited about the foot bar in the shower!
Thanks so much for the kind comment! The bathroom is great!

YES!!! It irks me to no end when there's nowhere to prop your foot when washing or shaving your legs! First world problems! 😂
Great video guys! Very informative. Thank you for making it!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you both for the wonderful presentation of the room. No one has ever been this through. I love to bring my movies with me on a seven day cruise when I just want to chill, so you helped me out. By the Grace of God I will be on her in September 2022. No I never put my suitcase on the bed, I use packing cubes very easy to unpack.
Have a great trip! Thank you
You are the best that I have seen about being descriptive about your cabin. Learned so much. Thank you. Have a AMAZING time. Bon Voyage. ⚓ 🛳🎉🎈🌴 ❤ 🍾
Wow, thank you!
Thanks for tour. Cabins haven't changed much to other ships. I'll be sailing soon.
Enjoy your trip!
Awesome video! Thanks for sharing!!

This is the first time I watched one of your videos. I enjoyed the tour of the stateroom.
Thank you!
awesome, can't wait for Embarkation aboard Mardi Gras!
Enjoy your cruise!
We haven't been on the Mardi Gras yet. Hopefully soon. Great room tour. The peep hole is new. :)
Very nice detailed tour of your room. Thanks
Thanks!
It was nice meeting you guys in person. Amazing personalities.
Loved meeting you! Thanks for talking with us and enjoy the rest of the cruise!
That is a really nice room, one day I'll be on that ship lol
Thank you for a great to the point tour. I appreciate both views especially the tip about the video game and tv. We will be traveling with teenagers.
Have a great cruise!
Thanks for the tour. We’re currently sitting in our hotel in Daytona getting ready to board the Mardi Gras in 4 hours 🤪🤪🤪
Am I the only one who knew you guys had two channels? Love them both.
Thanks so much!
Great Job Guys and beautiful room
Thanks!
This is very nice, thanx to show this please show main kitchen with to all outlets and main galley... Thank you
Loved your video
Thanks!
Awesome tour. Will be on Mardi Gras in September 2022 for my honeymoon!!
Hope you enjoy it!
My guy with the glitch for the gamers!!! I know he play video games!! I never thought 💭 about that. Life saver, I cruise in April 👍😂
Thanks for showing the outlets
No problem 👍, they are very important!
I thought you looked and sound familiar. Amtrak! Yes . I love your reviews. Yes my luggage go onto the bed mat, until I unpack, then to the closest❤
Thanks so much!
Thank you first cruise 🛳 next month ❤
They have that sale and sign card holder thing on the Horizon. We just put an old gift card in it to keep the air running while we were out because the cabin could be rather warm when you leave it off. Also, the lights are controlled by it as well. They have like an energy saver when you sleep at night that causes the air to go off for a while. Al in all the cabins do not look too much different than the Horizon.😎🛳
Yes, they are pretty similar
Oh thank you so very much for that tip!!
I agree but the items here look “upgraded”
Dry informative room tour. Especially regarding the tv info
Glad you liked it! There is a trick to getting the TV to stay on your HDMI port, you need to be on a TV channel before you switch to the HDMI and not in the Carnival hub, or it will switch back.
Btw- that was supposed to be VERY- not dry
I like that magnified mirror.
Thank you Rob. You answered my sons Xbox question lol. Great video!
Awesome, thanks!
It was such a nice ship
Hey, didn't know you did cruise vlogs. I'm subscribed to many. I was on Amtrak to Alexandria VA last week. Great video.
Thank you!
Great video, if you bring your Xbox with you when you travel, maybe you should bring a universal remote with you for those big hotel and cruise line remotes that don't have the input changers or adjustments you want for the tv.
Still no outlets near the bed. I use a CPAP machine for sleep apnea, so I have to get the room steward to run an extension cord across the room, usually tapped up across the ceiling. Some other cruise lines do have plugs near the bed.
Correct, a CPAP would be difficult in this room
We love your cabin tours because Rob always gives us a great run down on its TV, and its input issues. No one ever talks about this. Thank you both. Love your insights and shares.
Love this cabin! I will be on the Mardi Gras later this month, and I am thinking of upgrading to a spa balcony on deck 17. Did you have any noise from the Serenity pool area on deck 18?
That is nice
Excellent cabin tour! I will be onboard in five days. I just found your channel and immediately subscribed. By the way, carnival forbids plugging anything into the TV, but I won't tell anyone. :)
Awesome! Thank you! and have fun on your cruise!
Best balcony review ever..One would think you were a representative..
Thanks!
Nice!!!!
Thanks!
I like the shape of the mirror.
Mardi Gras is a beautiful ship, too big for me. I like a smaller ship, but may cruise on her just because. Have a great time, will be waiting for more vlogs.
Thanks, it is big, that is for sure!
Also the little chair/storage ottoman you can turn the top upside down and that’s your table
I have been allowed on some ships to bring a power cord or they will supply one at no charge if you ask but ask when you immediately board or they might run out.
Love the new state rooms no big table between the couch and the vanity area, also like the extra outlets. However my husband travels with a sleep apnea machine and ha int all the outlets that car from the bed is can be dangerous. The order is not long enough to rea h the bed and even if it did the bulk of his machine would be in the middle of the floor. I don't understand why one outlet cant be right by the bed. I am sure that there are other passengers with medical conditions or needs that would benefit from an outlet right by the bed. I love. Cruising and look forward to be able to cruise again, enjoy your cruise!!!
Most CPAPs can work on 110 and 220, and any lines/ships/rooms with standard nightstands with table lamps usually have 220s behind them. I've unplugged one and used that as a way to have it plugged in... But this ship I would bet doesn't have plugs behind or under the bed. You COULD bring a really long extension cord or ask for one and some duct tape.. but this is something they really should think about. They've finally brought in USB charging, though I wouldn't use them because they're going to be standard slow charging ones and I just don't trust public type usb charging. Panorama has regular night stands, or at least did in my interior room.
Do the balcony dividers open? I’m booked on deck 16, and good friends are right next door. Great tour!
Good review but the point of not having all the "TV comfy access buttons" is because you're supposed to be enjoying all the activities on this amazing Ship (which we love) and all the ocean beauty to look at... you can do TV stuff at home! lol
All of these outlets...wow
I’ve heard a lot about the Mardi Gras ship. I just came off carnival vista and Royal Caribbean
I been on carvel cruse a long time too
Thanks for the tour!!! I’m a cpap user and was wondering if there are any regular plug outlets by the bed. My cord may not stretch to the outlets by the desk (not to mention tripping hazard). If there isn’t one near the bed can you maybe ask the cabin steward if they have extension cords. I’m sailing in October and there are l other cpap-ers in the group that are curious if we need to bring extension cords and how long. Ugh the struggle! Love the video and looking forward to more!!!
In our room there is not one near the bed, the closest is on the desk, which is a good 10-12 feet away, and yes would be a tripping hazard. You'll want a long one.
Take extension cord... just in case!
Yep will have my cord and tell my fellow cpap-ers.
I also like the plug options in this room...I hate that on some ships there is only one plug on no USB options for my many gadgets. I hate playing charger limbo when I am on a cruise
We just came off the Mardi Gras two weeks ago... Great Ship and we loved it, but one thing, we didn’t receive the complimentary lanyards.
Do you get to keep the sliders and robe?
I’ve only said carnival interiors in the past and would always bring over the door organizer. Do you think that’s still necessary with this new style of cabin?
Thanks for the tour guys! We'll be sailing on balcony with my two kids, is that couch good for two coz I really want the bed beside the balcony and it will be our first Carnival cruise. Usually we have the bed beside the bathroom with Royal.
I think it would be good, but it depends how old they are
That storage ottoman’s top flips over and converts into a food tray
Hi you did a great presentation. now I want to sail on Mart gras. However I'm pussled on why you don't like to unpack suitcase on bed
She said the suitcases are dirty & gross from being "out in the world". :)
I think if you flip the lid to the ottoman the opposite way it doubles as a tray.
Yes, it does!
Compared to all the other carnival ships I have been on, this cabin seems very small. Seems to be more space between the couch and the desk, there's normally a little table in between the two.
Thanks for the tour of your room can you tour cloud 9spa
Yes, it is up now
I’m about to book this ship
thanks
Hiiiiiii how are u can’t wait to go on a cruise
Are you able to go down the hall on your floor and walk out to the overlooking lido deck, or do you have to take the stairs or elevator to go outside?
You do have to go down the stairs or elevator.
Is cloud nine spa different in space wise for regular cabin
im glad he showed the gamers how to set up our systems but we on a cruise aint time for no games too much to see and do
Robert talked about the HDMI port on the TV - please let us know once he tries it, I'm interested to know if it's locked out or not.
It is good, I got it hooked up fine. But... a trick is you can't switch to HDMI 2, until you are on a TV channel. If you switch while in the Carnival Menu, it'll go but switch right back. If you are watching a Tv channel and switch it'll stay.
🔥
What deck are y’all located on? That view looked like you were at the top of a building!
We were very high up, it was deck 17.
I smoke herb, there was a dog smelling every passengers bag in Jacksonville port but not in tampa or miami. What about this mardi gras in Port canav? Will I have to sweat out trying to sneak me something on? Or pretty lowkey?
How did it feel on deck 17! Any movement
What's the menu like for each meal?
RON SR speaking, have any pictures of room 1535o ext. balcony ?
The night light swivels
Just before the shutdown I was in an interior Cloud 9 on Panorama, and it still utilizes 220s in the room, with I think 1 or 2 US outlets. It also still had table lamps for the nightstands. Seeing this, I would doubt that there are 220s below/behind the beds like there are on ships with regular nightstands. This layout would not be good for anyone who uses a CPAP, and could be dangerous with an extension cord running across the room.
What did you pay for that room? What’s the name of the ship? Where are you headed and how long is the cruise? Thanks!
