Value distribution is a crucial overlooked component, I agree. There are plenty of people with ground-breaking ideas and knowledge but when they lack skills for social media, digital tools, and leverage building, they fail. Quick example: Observe how many interesting lectures from professors at Harvard and other prestigious institutions are on CZcams and the absurdly low number of views those videos have.
Very inspiring. 40 minutes passed by like it was just 10. I am a freelance programmer with a strong connection to what you refer to as spirituality. I loved your book mentions, from those I've only read The Power Of Now but I take notes to check the others. Your way of communicating is what I identify as awake. Psychedelic Trance has brought me to my senses and awake to life, maybe that rings a bell to you. I've met people across the globe that has decided to either collectively or solo to become aware as a base for every other angle of success, love and joy. I have deep gratitude for this video and your content which I just discovered. You remember me of wise acquaintances I've cross around which are not really a common thing to encounter. I am not doing my best for the past 4 years. I delay, struggle, doubt, deviate, avoid my chances, opportunities... Its a chaos. Being surrounded with like-minded people has helped me in the past, and I kind of don't have that at the moment, and neither that I ever had it for prolonged. It doesn't stick with me somehow. I live with intermittent moments of awareness, and it fades until I get my next ah-ha moment and it fuels my purposes, clears my mind. It doesn't help that I feel utterly shy to communicate on internet, whatever the social media. Years back my social media accounts where pretty good for a regular local guy, and people would remember me, call me, text me, or simply say hi and chitchat in the streets.... On the bright side during this years, I've been learning a lot about the things that I obsess about, so I believe it hasn't been for nothing. But when I get to see or know people like you... That, that inspires me way beyond what I was expecting to take the steps into higher challenges and move myself into a momentum of discipline... Yeah I do agree that you dive into the details much more than most, and I love that. Too many YTers are only keeping it above the tree tops, but that doesn’t really help. It’s not a framework, it’s just a broad level concept to get clicks. You dive in and actually help with ideas and frameworks 💪.

I've started to get your videos on my homepage probably two weeks ago. I have been doing self improvement for nearly one year by now, and right now I'm on my path of spiritual growth. Your videos have been like a sign for me, this is the universe telling me: just do it. I've gained so much knowledge and esperience, and i feel the need to share it with others. People create logos for $15 and they’re extremely talented to be able to do that, however, to sell it as $30,000 it requires something other than just pure creative skills. This video offers amazing insight into the mentality necessary to make that leap into value land.
This is exactly what I've been trying to find the words for to everyone who thinks I'm nuts these days considering I've become pretty much homeless and really struggling. This is a new age. Building this type of thing is going to be the most essential way to get out of basically... slavery... in this economy/late stage capitalism. We are humans who acquire "things" in order to survive. We are moving away from acquiring physical things, and onto acquiring mental things - knowledge. The ones providing said knowledge will be the most successful in this new economy.

I like the idea of making stupid little Etsy stickers and jewelry and have been upset that is the only thing I feel I could do business with. During this video I realized I have finally fully overcome debilitating social anxiety after suffering well over a decade. The two things I did peak poor mental health and still do 13 years later are writing/journaling about whatever came to mind and searching for self help/educational vids. 13 years later and ongoing, I am exhibiting charismatic personality traits I never knew about. I am completely rewired. Journal your way into a lifestyle, skills, practice, healing and it will help you long term. Can’t express the importance of it enough. And lastly I cannot express how grateful I am to this specific video. I just realized I can share how I overcame social anxiety…what worked and didn’t work. And hell, I fill up a 192 page journal every 3 months. Surely there is value in sharing the benefits of this practice. 💛 still want to monetize stickers too I guess

There's no other answer, than LOVE, and while the road to finally get it and apply it to one's life might be long, it's definitely worth it. ❤ Starting my brand "This too is an inspiration", after years of going through hardship, need, mental suffering and immigration, I finally understood that I needed was already there. It's all the stories I collected along the way, all the tricks on how to move to another country without rich parents or anyone supporting you, all my failed attempts at making it work in film industry, etc. But even after tattooing this phrase on my chest which I came up with myself, inspired by King's Salomon 'this too shall pass" in 2018, it still took me 5 years to realize that all what I went through was a gift. You are doing God's work, helping people to find their essence so they could teach and inspire others.

I was having trouble "niching down" in order to differentiate from other coaches/mentors, as everyone is saying, because I don't believe that knowledge of just on specific thing will bring success in one's life. Hey Dan so i just came across your channel about a week ago at this point i cant even remember what video it was that made me subscribe. For the last 10-12 months Ive been trying to figure this entire "Creator" "Online Content" world and have just been amazed and just assessed with exploring every social media platform and all the different people on there and what they are not only teaching but also just things everyone is talking about. Ive been stuck prior to this in this little world in the city I'm from and never would have imagine how much more there is out there, and how many other people are out there that think and look at things differently. Ive tried so hard and wish my family would just sometimes just be more interested in even just listening to me and the things I'm to interested at the moment to learn about. Maybe its because im the youngest of all my siblings but none of them are realizing how the entire world is just about to change. That all said you are the first channel that i have finally found that makes things make sense the way i understand and the way i learn and consume information. Ive been trying to figure what the hell i should do as a "Content Creator" if i can even call myself that, but your videos are just putting everything in order for me to help figure out what i need to be doing to grow as a person and online. Wow. We are on similar wave length dude. "King of Self" is the name of the beat tape I'm releasing (that you are now guiding me on releasing via this channel). During this journey I've pulled my self out of addiction and the depths of my own mental hell and the phrase "King of self" has just been in my head this entire time. I loved the point about synthesizers; it was so validating. The pull to understand the context, the patterns, and the connection among all things was why I decided to study history at university. I was able to learn such a breadth of information and understand the world through critical thinking much more than peers studying niche subjects, I'd say.

“Self-encompassing business” is a term that came to mind when you mentioning seeking alternatives to “one-person business.” To me, this suggests a value proposition focused on full self-embodiment. This is the kind of person who lets go of self-doubt and trusts that their own value will resonate with others in the world, just as it did for them. Just my take. Great video!

Since I've had what I really consider to be a spiritual awakening I've been seeking information just naturally. In general where ever I am my senses hone in on the bits of data whizzing past us all and I swear multiple times a week or even daily I see someone else illustrating the solution to something I've literally just solved for my self only when I was solving it I couldn't find the solution anywhere. I think not because It wasn't there, but because I didn't know what to look for. I know this is rambling but you're vids really resonate with me.
I was so fucking hyped about your push and emphasis on writing, journaling, note taking, etc.!!! This is very direct advice and steps for cultivating something specific however a lot of steps you mentioned are fundamentals to healing, rewiring the brain, gaining confidence and articulation skills and honestly these coincide with becoming spiritually in tune to oneself.

I’ve been very afraid to start a business around my obsession, its a deep level psychology that is still new to the world and I truly believe its going to change it. And I didnt want to be the captain of that ship because I was afraid of the responsibility it would bestow me with, but its the only thing I’m very knowledgeable about and passionate about. Hey dan, I’m going through a similar phase in my life. But the only thing is that i have too many obsessions or interests. And picking one or few out of the list is frustrating for me because i feel like i value each and every interest on the same level. It’s like i want to study, adapt and work with all my obsessions and i really cant differentiate and say which one i prefer over the other. This is something i have been wanting to figure for years but i really don’t know how to and where to start. I’m 23 and I’m still not sure what type of a career i want although i do have a general idea of how i want my future to be like, but the whole process is so tangled and confusing. I did some basic research about this and came to know that such people with multiple obsessions or interests can be termed as a “multi-potentialite”. Even though i do have many interests, i have to start off from one and then generally broaden and go to my other interests, but I’m having a hard time picking one because even if i pick one, my mind starts swaying to other interests and back. I generally don’t know what to do at this point. Is this normal though or I’m not sure if I’m being too hysterical. If anyone is going through a similar kind of struggle with career, please help me out. I’m literally stuck with soo many things jumbled at once. And i feel like having so many interests is a blessing and also a curse.
My advice is to find a way of combining being practical with being carefree. The practical side of you has to figure out a way of making a living. The carefree side of you is only interested in indulging your curiosity and in having fun learning new things. So how do you balance the two? Here's what I would do if I were your age: 1. *Choose a problem you'd like to solve* : this can be a general problem (e.g. renewable energy), or a specific problem (e.g. build a portable wind generator). 2. *Become an expert in what it takes to solve that problem* : do your best to solve that problem. Work on your own and share what you learn, maybe even create products or services out of it, or work for a company that's already involved in solving that problem. Working for a company usually comes with restrictions, but it can also help you find friends and mentors, and can give you peace of mind about having enough money for a decent way of living. 3. *Use your free time to learn whatever you feel like in the moment* : use up to 20% of your time letting your mind have fun. Don't worry about how practical something is or about whether or not it's OK to study something. Just let yourself read about, watch videos about, and think about whatever you feel like. If you feel stuck on what to do, make a list of things you're interested in and make it a game where you use a random number generator to choose what to study when you have free time. When you combine being practical with being carefree, you usually stop feeling guilty about not having a single interest or a single passion and you start enjoying your polymathic personality more. ❤
I am in that boat! I have more interests than seconds in a day. I commit 40-50 hours/week to my job in tech and take it very seriously and then use my free time to read about whatever I feel like! There still isn’t enough time for everything, but there never will be!
Im 22, same boat, I listed all of my hobbies in a drawing and grouped them all generally, finding commonalities it really helped me visualize more possibilities of what I could do with them, but this video and his last one on this are describing how to put them into action the way you want to, its not set in stone, you can make it work creatively
Same I have tons of interest along with a full time job.. it comes down to time management which I am figuring out as I go. Find a balance between between what you are great at and what you enjoy. Somewheee in between you willI find your major but also try to incorporate your minors. I am a consultant but also have interest in painting and yoga and cooking and creating content. I try to find a balance. My full time job helps me fund these hobbies. These keep me refreshed when I start my work and I’m able to bring a wider ideas to the table

Value distribution is a crucial overlooked component, I agree. There are plenty of people with ground-breaking ideas and knowledge but when they lack skills for social media, digital tools, and leverage building, they fail.

I have deep gratitude for this video and your content which I just discovered. You remember me of wise acquaintances I've cross around which are not really a common thing to encounter.
I am not doing my best for the past 4 years. I delay, struggle, doubt, deviate, avoid my chances, opportunities... Its a chaos. Being surrounded with like-minded people has helped me in the past, and I kind of don't have that at the moment, and neither that I ever had it for prolonged. It doesn't stick with me somehow. I live with intermittent moments of awareness, and it fades until I get my next ah-ha moment and it fuels my purposes, clears my mind.
It doesn't help that I feel utterly shy to communicate on internet, whatever the social media. Years back my social media accounts where pretty good for a regular local guy, and people would remember me, call me, text me, or simply say hi and chitchat in the streets.... On the bright side during this years, I've been learning a lot about the things that I obsess about, so I believe it hasn't been for nothing. But when I get to see or know people like you... That, that inspires me way beyond what I was expecting to take the steps into higher challenges and move myself into a momentum of discipline...

I've started to get your videos on my homepage probably two weeks ago. I have been doing self improvement for nearly one year by now, and right now I'm on my path of spiritual growth. This is exactly what I've been trying to find the words for to everyone who thinks I'm nuts these days considering I've become pretty much homeless and really struggling. This is a new age. Building this type of thing is going to be the most essential way to get out of basically... slavery... in this economy/late stage capitalism. We are humans who acquire "things" in order to survive. We are moving away from acquiring physical things, and onto acquiring mental things - knowledge. The ones providing said knowledge will be the most successful in this new economy.

I like the idea of making stupid little Etsy stickers and jewelry and have been upset that is the only thing I feel I could do business with. During this video I realized I have finally fully overcome debilitating social anxiety after suffering well over a decade. The two things I did peak poor mental health and still do 13 years later are writing/journaling about whatever came to mind and searching for self help/educational vids. 13 years later and ongoing, I am exhibiting charismatic personality traits I never knew about. I am completely rewired. Journal your way into a lifestyle, skills, practice, healing and it will help you long term. Can’t express the importance of it enough. And lastly I cannot express how grateful I am to this specific video. I just realized I can share how I overcame social anxiety…what worked and didn’t work. And hell, I fill up a 192 page journal every 3 months. Surely there is value in sharing the benefits of this practice. 💛 still want to monetize stickers too I guess

It's all the stories I collected along the way, all the tricks on how to move to another country without rich parents or anyone supporting you, all my failed attempts at making it work in film industry, etc. But even after tattooing this phrase on my chest which I came up with myself, inspired by King's Salomon 'this too shall pass" in 2018, it still took me 5 years to realize that all what I went through was a gift. Hey Dan so i just came across your channel about a week ago at this point i cant even remember what video it was that made me subscribe. For the last 10-12 months Ive been trying to figure this entire "Creator" "Online Content" world and have just been amazed and just assessed with exploring every social media platform and all the different people on there and what they are not only teaching but also just things everyone is talking about. I was able to learn such a breadth of information and understand the world through critical thinking much more than peers studying niche subjects, I'd say.

In general where ever I am my senses hone in on the bits of data whizzing past us all and I swear multiple times a week or even daily I see someone else illustrating the solution to something I've literally just solved for my self only when I was solving it I couldn't find the solution anywhere. I think not because It wasn't there, but because I didn't know what to look for. I know this is rambling but you're vids really resonate with me.
I was so fucking hyped about your push and emphasis on writing, journaling, note taking, etc.!!! This is very direct advice and steps for cultivating something specific however a lot of steps you mentioned are fundamentals to healing, rewiring the brain, gaining confidence and articulation skills and honestly these coincide with becoming spiritually in tune to oneself.

I’ve been very afraid to start a business around my obsession, its a deep level psychology that is still new to the world and I truly believe its going to change it. And I didnt want to be the captain of that ship because I was afraid of the responsibility it would bestow me with, but its the only thing I’m very knowledgeable about and passionate about. Hey dan, I’m going through a similar phase in my life. But the only thing is that i have too many obsessions or interests. And picking one or few out of the list is frustrating for me because i feel like i value each and every interest on the same level. It’s like i want to study, adapt and work with all my obsessions and i really cant differentiate and say which one i prefer over the other. This is something i have been wanting to figure for years but i really don’t know how to and where to start. I’m 23 and I’m still not sure what type of a career i want although i do have a general idea of how i want my future to be like, but the whole process is so tangled and confusing. I did some basic research about this and came to know that such people with multiple obsessions or interests can be termed as a “multi-potentialite”. Even though i do have many interests, i have to start off from one and then generally broaden and go to my other interests, but I’m having a hard time picking one because even if i pick one, my mind starts swaying to other interests and back. I generally don’t know what to do at this point. Is this normal though or I’m not sure if I’m being too hysterical. If anyone is going through a similar kind of struggle with career, please help me out. I’m literally stuck with soo many things jumbled at once. And i feel like having so many interests is a blessing and also a curse.
My advice is to find a way of combining being practical with being carefree. The practical side of you has to figure out a way of making a living. The carefree side of you is only interested in indulging your curiosity and in having fun learning new things. So how do you balance the two? Here's what I would do if I were your age:
1. *Choose a problem you'd like to solve* : this can be a general problem (e.g. renewable energy), or a specific problem (e.g. build a portable wind generator).
2. *Become an expert in what it takes to solve that problem* : do your best to solve that problem. Work on your own and share what you learn, maybe even create products or services out of it, or work for a company that's already involved in solving that problem. Working for a company usually comes with restrictions, but it can also help you find friends and mentors, and can give you peace of mind about having enough money for a decent way of living.
3. *Use your free time to learn whatever you feel like in the moment* : use up to 20% of your time letting your mind have fun. Don't worry about how practical something is or about whether or not it's OK to study something. Just let yourself read about, watch videos about, and think about whatever you feel like. If you feel stuck on what to do, make a list of things you're interested in and make it a game where you use a random number generator to choose what to study when you have free time.
When you combine being practical with being carefree, you usually stop feeling guilty about not having a single interest or a single passion and you start enjoying your polymathic personality more. ❤
I am in that boat! I have more interests than seconds in a day. I commit 40-50 hours/week to my job in tech and take it very seriously and then use my free time to read about whatever I feel like! There still isn’t enough time for everything, but there never will be!
Im 22, same boat, I listed all of my hobbies in a drawing and grouped them all generally, finding commonalities it really helped me visualize more possibilities of what I could do with them, but this video and his last one on this are describing how to put them into action the way you want to, its not set in stone, you can make it work creatively

Same I have tons of interest along with a full time job.. it comes down to time management which I am figuring out as I go.
Find a balance between between what you are great at and what you enjoy. Somewheee in between you willI find your major but also try to incorporate your minors.
I am a consultant but also have interest in painting and yoga and cooking and creating content. I try to find a balance.
My full time job helps me fund these hobbies. These keep me refreshed when I start my work and I’m able to bring a wider ideas to the table
