Don Toliver is one of the most unexpected feature on an eminem track
“They miss the old me. I think they want me to OD on Codeine. They want my life in turmoil like 03.” Dam Eminem real asf.
People need to just accept Eminem how he is now and stop saying they miss the old him. People change
I miss the old him purely for his music but i like the new him for him @@JoseMartinez-kv1rh
This might be the best chorus I've ever heard.
It’s so powerful I think of The old slim from 99 when I hear the chorus!
@@lorenzzoagu6762 yes. What was I thinking. Offended had the best hook ever.
Are we just gonna act like Don Toliver didn’t just slaughter the chorus?🔥
That's the only problem that I can see with Eminem's fan base: most of the fans only acknowledge Eminem's verses but they hardly ever acknowledge the people being featured. Most of the comments I see are about Eminem and that's natural and goes for any artist, but I'm usually lucky enough to find that one guy who acknowledges the ones being featured so whenever I see a comment like this, I think to myself "finally"
@@TexanSilver to be fair it isnt nearly worth to talk about his features. They are always awesome and I would be more surprised if they sounding casual or out of place.
@@justgermanpleasexcusemywri3618 well, there are some features that I won't really care if they're mentioned or not but then there's others that do their jobs as a feature and make the song better that I feel deserve recognition for, like on Those Kinda Nights, I think there's 1 comment I saw that actually talked about Ed Sheeran and how good he goes with Em's songs and I was glad that someone finally gave Ed some recognition because he made the song so much better than what it already was, and like I said, it's natural for fans to talk about the main artist since it's their song, but it just feels like most artists that get featured by Eminem almost never get the recognition that they deserve, even if they themselves are popular
"Cant listen to Arose without crying" Stans caught that bar..
I thought it was ‘can’t listen to a rose’ as a reference to a rose that grew from concrete the Tupac poem. I haven’t fact checked any of this. Just saying high level lyrics mean whatever to whoever. As long as you catching feels it’s kinda the point.
Arose is such a goooood song. The first time i heard it, i teared up.
Best on the album
1. Darkness
2. No Regret
3. You Gon' Learn
4. Leaving Heaven
5. Premonition
My Favourites on the album
As much as people want old em back, I think his writing and wordplay has improved as hes gotten older
I cant imagine old Em saying most of the lines of today. Theyre too complex. And I love it.
I don't think i'm missing the old him, actually i'm in love with the new em...
Yeah I love this album. My brother is one of the biggest em fans ever and He says he doesn't like this album he says it's too slow? I dontget it?
Eric Owen slow,? It has his fastest song, and every lyric has a double meaning. If anything it’s faster
I’m kinda pissed that only Godzilla gets all the attention, yes it is good but cmon this is legendary
Well it does have one of the greatest rappers and another rapper than died not too long ago so it isn't suprising it's the number one song on the album
True, I don't know which one is better though.
Godzilla is a freaking masterpiece I can't stop listening to Em's last verse
@@zr2424 yeah but problem is it gets tiring to listen over and over because of that typical fast flow. We know em can do it but slow and calm flow would do the trick for new style.
Step dad, yah yah & I will are alright too. Not my favourite Eminem album but there are some great tracks on Music to be murdered by.
THE HOOK THE BEAT THE VOCALS THE RAP EVERYTHING IS JUST SO AMAZING I THINK IMA CRY 😭
This is a underrated masterpiece
The production
The Lyrics
The Hook
So fkin Relaxing
Eminem doesn't get enough credit for his albums never sounding the same as the previous one...an artist who is always creative when creating
Eminem is a legendary artist. If you ask anyone +50yo to name one new era rapper they might not no even single one but everyone does know who Eminem is
did he diss Tyler again? or the other way. (I'm Spanish it's hard to understand)
The second verse is beast mode Eminem. The punchlines are so cold.
One of Em’s best songs imo
It's dope. But its called No Regrets. But in the last verse he says he regrets responding to Tyler The Creator. That part makes no sense in this song.
“Some enemies will get the kill shot, some I just Nicked em’” HELL YEA!!
Yuni Wulandari I appreciate you explaining the meaning of the wordplay a little deeper. I understood the nuanced meaning, but I realize some people may not or may even have just missed it? I have been known to listen to a new song several times from Eminem, just to be able to even CATCH everything! So, again, thank you for breaking it down, politely, a little more Incase someone missed it! 🙂
Some targets will get the killshot (MGK, when Em did the song Killshot dissing MGK), some I just bearly nick them (Nick Cannon and basically dismissing his diss)
This is one of the best driving songs.
When people say Eminem doesn’t put the same passion into his music, this is one of the songs I show them. This album honestly and the Deluxe album. They were both really well done.
Man eminem fans are so lucky they still get to hear the legend with new songs even in 2020..
How great would have been if 2pac was alive and droping some new songs e once in a while!
@@Bl3h6666 even some living ones aren't releasing new albums like Curtis, Xzibit, dr dre
@@Bl3h6666 Chester Bennington, and RIP Juice wrld.. wish he will grow sober like em and listen to his more matured song by him..
This is one of the most catchy em tracks ever, rhyming is an example of true human ingenuity
Late reply but you're absolutely right bro. The flow, cadence, wordplay, punchlines, puns and metaphors just thrown at our face, some subliminally that I won't recognize until I hear it again. Em is Mozart of rap. Case closed.
Jamming this fuckin masterpiece in 2024 💯
Man I love Em's old music, but this album is just too good. I absolutely love this song.
OLD EM
NEW EM
I'LL ALWAYS LOVE EM
3 years later and this jam is still banging 🙌🏽
You really came here to listen this old crap?? Better listen Gomunkul 6 he is trending now,
This song is just beautiful man
frfr I've been listening to it everyday since it came out lol always gets me in my feelings
"Yeah, they miss the old me
I think they want me to OD on codeine
They want my life in turmoil like in '03"
Literally cried!
Wolf Man why you being like that man can you not respect the fact that some people might be able to relate to it or maybe their sensitive your just being a total dickhead and there’s no need for it
'If I had the chance to do it all over again, I wouldn't change shit' is classic Eminem.
There is no Old Eminem or New Eminem it's the same guy doing what he does better than anyone
RAP
This song is so relevant right now. Everyone around him shitting on his legacy yet he still proves why he's the GOAT.
The fact that snoop had to explain y he did not keep em in his top 10 while eminem never mentioned snoop in his top 10 and never had to give any explanation for that tells us he is the true goat, Tupac and biggie no matter are legends but the fact that they died early gives them a soft side too, they didn't have to probe themselves again and again, nas on the other hand has illmatic as his best album but after that I don't think he ever made a generation defining album or anything. Em has a lot of years to come and tbh, the songs are gonna just get more legendary. He'll prove again he is the GOAT, and critics would be like, fuck him he's nowhere near goat
Funny you say that. His cadence on here is similar to the cadence he had on his verses in G.O.A.T
@@ayushanand6070 well it was more that snoop did have em in his top 3 back in the day and randomly switched up on that interview
He insulted MGK and Nick Cannon in one breath without having to draw attention to it.
@@alikhamov yeah that's a good way to look at it too. Still a bitter pill to swallow.
@@lolidk6617 more like a backhanded compliment. "You werent as bad as the other guy" isnt a compliment.
The gem of this album. More than a year since MTBMB dropped I am still listening the whole album but this song just can’t get enough.

This whole album is crazy. Em will go down as the best writer of our time.

*EMINEM IS BACK BITCHESSS*
@@citric3138 Ain't that the fuckin truth! That man has got too much talent to have ever been gone, he has always been very consistent with his bodies of work in my opinion! I actually think the revival album was pretty damn good honestly, it just wasn't what a lot of people wanted from him so everyone said it was trash but I still think it was pretty good overall! It was better than 90% of the hip-hop that's played on the radio these days!
Is was back with Revival already... He gas always been here. And many of you doubted him, criticized him when he poured his heart out... That's kinda what is implied in this song but people still don't get it saying he is "finally" back.......
People: He should have waited a week for Mac
Eminem Fans: SCREAMING OUUUT NO REGRETS!
Sarah marie mathers Eminem deserves it no matter who he’s against. He’s been through so much struggle and physical pain where as these new rappers felt a couple pills down their throat and went night night
As a Mac fan, I kinda understand it. Both had random release times and everything is based on the labels. Credit to Em. I'm just glad Mac's on billboard next to him
@@TBD-YT that's a bit disrespectful. Mac struggled with addiction just like Marshall. No need to trade a soul for a soul man. We're not living in the age of the avengers. All love, don't disrespect anyone dealing with addiction. Think about if it was someone in your family brother. Just saying.
It’s crazy but this entire album inspired me to quit all bad things in live. Helped me also cut out everything bringing me down. No regrets!

This is seriously one of his best tracks of all time. The lyrics, the flow at this stage of his career, the beat, the hook, the feature. My word. Timeless
i really think this is the best song on his album side A
I respect that, but my favourites are Godzilla, In Too Deep, Farewell and You Gon' Learn
@@deepaparakkal4241 Don’t sleep on Never Love Again tho. That song’s amazing.
The "Arose" reference makes me believe that Marshall feels that there are people who truly appreciated "Revival", shared his fears and worries. I can also remember the NYC emotional performance of "Walk On Water"; I guess Em felt the support there, so this song is probably a grateful response to the fans.
It makes me even more glad to see so many "Arose" comments in this section. \_(-_-)_/
