Augason Farms - Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo - My honest opinion

This one tasted and looked really good. Only issue was the chicken bits did not fully rehydrate.
Preppers always will have some kind of freeze dried food in the pantry. Some more than others. There are a lot of good reasons for this, mostly long shelf life and a large selections of options. Not all preppers care about the long term storage at the price point. Others like me, mix it up a bit as well as freeze drying my own food.

Swing-a-way makes a great manual can opener. I've had mine since the 1980's and I've never had an electric can opener. Still cuts open cans perfectly fine and easy; well made not a little piece of cheap metal can opener. The inner pouch is a great idea. Usually there is a bunch of powder on the bottom and you have to figure out how to measure the correct amount of powder per serving.

I think people need to keep in mind that long term storage foods are not Grandma's Sunday dinner, it's meant to keep you alive with nutrition and calories. I also believe people should try these foods to be sure the family will eat it, you can also combine other ingredients and spices to make it more to your liking.

I'm enjoying these videos, I've got a good supply of Auguson Farms. The items we've tried already are pretty good.
You may want to try a can opener that cuts from the side not from the top. I've been using that type for years and it is very handy on the dog food cans , the top can go back on the can to reseal temporarily
