This is not just a carpenter, but a well rounded artist & craftsman. Look at the way he arranged his garden, his work station, music choice, or everything he touches. From the first video, just a look at his apron alone, I could tell he had great taste.
I think “Xiaoxi’s Crafts” suits his channel more. “Culinary” would make many think he’s yet another Liziqi or DianxiXiaoge, while he’s so different.

Because of you I tried making a tofu press for the first time; i'm not 100% happy with it, but I know the next one I make will come out better! A note on the english text on screen when you're doing the lightning arcing - instead of "do not initiate", i think you were trying to say "do not imitate"? but a more commonly used phrase for things like this is "Don't try this at home!" Also I see you love using slow motion videography in your videos, but the kind of camera you use means the frame rate drops significantly - maybe look into getting a slow motion camera for these shots? I know they're specialist tools, but they would make such a huge difference in terms of the quality!

It makes my heart sink when he brings out the duck and then chunks of duck meat in the bowl plus ingredients. Those beautiful one-of-a-kind wooden bowls, leave them at that. This is not a cooking show.
It’s education to show people where their meat come from.
Probably to him, it’s normal.
To me in the past, it was normal because everybody killed chicken, ducks, pigeons, pig at home for meat.
when I came to America, the first piece of pork I ate, I could see what was wrong with your method here.
Pork meat in the US is smelly and has disgusting taste because of the blood retain in the meat after pigs are killed.
In my generation, we fed pigs with left over rice, meat and veggies.
Pig farms collected all left-over from all the family and markets in the village then they (we) cooked for the pigs.
Pigs had to be fixed for better meat.
The way to kill is to put a tube right at the neck to draw out all the blood.
Comparing to the so-called more humane killing methods, our method is not that inhumane, the pigs die fast because the blood come out very fast just like you see in movies.

It is a good idea to wear a mask when wood dust fills the air to protect the lungs long term. Other than that very nice technique. Phosphorus powder gives a nice touch. Lots of interesting hand made items and good food. 😍
