    Where you get the fork bleeders? Also, what and how much fork oil you running. I have the fast ace for my klx 110l and I find it has a bit much slack in it. Maybe not enough fluid, too thin of fluid or maybe need stiffer/longer springs. I'm 165#

      fork bleeder I purchased from Rocky Mountain Atv and they're for a Showa fork but you can make them work with a little modification. Not sure how much fork oil or weight that comes in them stock because I haven't taken them apart yet.

    You talk about how the bike is basically stock but its not even close to all stock. Stock wheels, frame, rear shock, brakes and thats about it lol. Engine has been built, levers, shift lever, exhaust, front forks, etc. More about it isn't stock than what is.

    Engi seems to be good brand idk if ya Australian or American but thumpster is originally in Australia and I was gonna say if you've ever Hurd off ycf or if you have if ya can do a review as they are 5k a bike and they don't even have linkage swing arm and then a thumpster you can pick up for 3k with linkage swing arm I was wondering weather it matters to much with the linkage swing arm had one pit bike I built cfr50 style one but custmise the shit out off it and it was pretty beast I really liked that bike and then I had this lxr race head 160 with linkage swing arm but didn't ride either bike long enough to compare

    • @BaileyLuntsford
      @BaileyLuntsford  Před 3 lety +1

      Honestly I don’t think the linkage matters that much on pitbikes and yes I’ve heard of ycf theyre like the competitor for thumpstars in my opinion they are both about the same.

    • @DumpySkittles
      @DumpySkittles Před 3 lety +1

      I have the same bike as this and the old man has a pitster pro 155cc few years older though. But the thumpstar definitely has a slightly longer wheel base and alot plusher to ride even with the stock shock n forks. Oldmans got marzzoci forks n after market rare shock on the pitster. I havent kept up with the later model pitster pros but besides the slightly shitty build quality on the thumpstar e.g loctite ya bolts shabby electrics which was probably local mechanics installing the 190cc into a frame which had the 140cc in it. I can say I'm happy enough with money spent especially vs the price of the pitsterpros. Which were almost impossible to get in New Zealand

    • @Inkedup128
      @Inkedup128 Před 3 lety +1

      @@DumpySkittles i mean a 190cc vs a 155cc should have a longer wheelbase to counter the power and engine size along with better suspension so you dont bottom out. and here in the US the price is pretty much the same. i only asked cuz i had the old x2 pitster and loved it. plus thumpstar has a very small selection of parts in the us to choose from whether OEM or aftermarket and people have been complaining hard ot get customer service to send them parts to fix the bikes here

    • @DumpySkittles
      @DumpySkittles Před 3 lety

      @@Inkedup128 ahhhh true that. surprised there so close in price I was looking at at least 2k extra to get a pitster pro. Thumpstar definitely upped there game linkage axles etc. I think there genuinely a longer wheel base cause I know they swapped a 140cc to the Daytona 190cc as I wanted before was shipped to me. So frames must be generally the same etc. Lack of support never helps. Finding oil filters for the engine wasn't a easy task due to this years bs.

    • @Inkedup128
      @Inkedup128 Před 3 lety

      @@DumpySkittles i feel yea. Yea. Both pitster and thumpstar are within $100 of each other for both the 190cc size pitbikes. Same price unless you go with smaller wheels on pitsters other model making it $100 cheaper. Otherwise same price here in the US

    Whats up buddy just did my 190cc
    I put a new piston and new head with new valves had it on top dead center but what got me so confused is that I see the 2 lines on the cams sprocket looks like there supposed to go in a straight line like the ----- ------ and top dead center but when I fire it up smokes a little and does it stay running I have to keep hitting the gas if I let go of the gas cuts right off I check the valve my owners manual say valve clearance 00.5 00.5
    Man im clueless I did everything right well I think what em I doing wrong throws a little smoke too but I put new piston new cylinder and a new head with valve in it new please give me some feedback back I will definitely appreciate it buddy I see your video and seems like you know what your doing thank you

    • @BaileyLuntsford
      @BaileyLuntsford  Před 3 lety

      Sounds like you lined up your marks good for the timing, I set the valves to .002-.003 on both intake and exhaust valves, if it’s burning a little oil I’m wondering if maybe you have a bad base gasket or possible bad oil ring on the piston. If it dies when you let off the gas just turn up your idle screw a little bit to fix that.

    • @davntelisha19
      @davntelisha19 Před 3 lety

      Yeah I turn the idle all the way up but it dies as soon as I let go of the gas but I'm doing my gasket again too see if that changes anything I look at the piston the piston looks good its brand new but ill keep you posted thank you again
