  • Here is my analysis of a classic early game of Go played in China around 1600 between Guo Bailing and Wang Hannian. I also give you some advice in how to improve your play as a beginner in Go. And tell you a story about a game I played with a precocious 6 - year old Japanese player.
It is important to watch good players play without even being able to understand their moves: this is a huge help in developing higher levels of skill in the game.
