Windemuller wired this split-flap sign and developed a custom UL control panel, which was designed to meet Chicago UL requirements and also accommodate easy transport to its new home - the Cubs corporate offices.
I was already liking this video, but when the guy in horn-rimmed glassed showed up holding another pair of horn-rimmed glasses, I had to leave this ridiculous comment! Very cool use of this type of display, I seem to have kindof just discovered them this evening and might try building one myself or buying alphanumeric modules (I knew of their existence from back in the day of course)
If you add a stopper peg it won't swing when it drops and will have a more juicy sound
And if the flaps are metal - the stopper pegs can have a small (weak) magnet to make the flaps snap into place.
Absolutely love it❣
haha, i love it. this is very inspiring, thank you for sharing
this is pretty epic not gonna lie
Amazing
