- Kendra, 18, ran away from home to be with Mark, 19. And now, a few years later, they’re getting married. But convincing her family to attend will be tough when they’re still blaming Mark for stealing their little girl. At least they’re kind of talking, and Kendra’s teary-eyed dad is trying to be supportive. Mark’s parents, on the other hand, are nowhere to be found. But the couple is resolved to tie the knot anyway, and they’re going to have fun doing it. Kendra pranks the bachelor party, and her antics at the bachelorette shindig are a bit much for Mark. As the big day approaches, however, heartbroken Kendra pleads with her mom to the last minute. And no one knows for sure who will walk the runaway bride down the aisle.

Agreed. They're going to get married, the mother is just punishing herself by not being involved. Also, if she's not supportive of the wedding then ok but if she behaves this way and at a future time her daughter needs help or the marriage goes badly and needs support she is so much less likely to go to her mother for that as she will likely be expecting a big dose of 'I told you so' and guilt which doesn't help anyone. She's setting herself up for an unhappy relationship with her child and grandchild.
Just because two people make a baby, it doesn't mean they're meant to be together or parents. Take it from the daughter of teen parents, and I'm glad they never got married. They wouldn't have been happy together.
No one's saying it does, but they ARE getting married and all the arguing from the mother didn't and wasn't going to change that. Sometimes people just need to learn for themselves. She doesn't know it won't work out anyway, no one does- even though most relationships don't so might as well argue with them at any age.

I definitely agree. He's the father of her granddaughter, she should really just support her daughter and her decisions. She's doing what she thinks she should really just support her daughter and her decisions. She's a grandmother and her daughter is doing what she thinks is best for her family like any mother should... I also bet that when the younger sister gets married and the missing mom is all involved in that it will drive an insanely large wedge in between this relationship. She should have swallowed her pride and been there for her daughter and really for her granddaughter for that matter.

They always say “we’re not too young” like ummmm yes you are, you’ve barley experienced life. There’s many many years for that to come. Plus as we grow older we change, we grow into better people. Who knows in 5 years they won’t even be each other’s type anymore. In their situation though, I agree 100% because they already have a kid and live together.

Honestly I have to agree. My best friend from high school moved out at 16 to live with her (now) fiance, her parents were abusive drug addicts and her mother specifically made a point to choose her twin sister over her. She moved out and just this year her parents have been asses trying to convince her it's her fault etc and that she should be grateful for them even supporting her til she was 16 (which I laughed at right in their faces because our freshman year together she cut herself and attempted suicide because of her parents and I stayed up all night to make sure she wouldn't do it again after her parents mocked her and called her a pussy for not going through with it. Luckily she met her boyfriend that year shortly after I met mine and he saved her from a second attempt. We're adults now, both engaged to our boys and I'm proud of her. Her parents were shitty bastards and don't deserve her. Idk this girl's situation but if it was as bad as she says I say good on her for getting out of there.

I started dating my other half when we were both 15 years old & within the first month he told me he loved me & that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. We both stayed in school & went to college because we knew if we got married young we would struggle. Fast forward to 7 years later we’re both 22 & he just proposed at Disneyland & we’re getting married this year at a beach resort. It was worth the wait.❤️💍

It might be because this is a Canadian series and, iirc, Canada, like the UK, does not have fluoridated tap water.
In the US we have an unnatural standard regarding cosmetic dentistry as priority care (ie we get braces, veneers, etc. and have sealants applied and teeth whitening procedures at a young age and use home bleaching kits/products). Whereas most other countries their standard dental care is more oral health focused than cosmetic.
@@evangeline77x Thank you so much for this comment. I've seen many of them trashing Canada in general simply because most of the people on this show have "yellow" or crooked teeth. Canadians are focused on the function of the teeth more over the cosmetic appearance. Dental care is also a lot more expensive because of the many other things we have for free.

Linda Davies I had a baby at 18 married my bestfriend at 19 few months before I was 20. We've been through hell and back soon to have our 4th in Nov. Its been 7 years of work Laurence understanding. What people don't realize is marriage is work you work at it every day you have to be able to grow together and accept eachothers growth and changes and take everything as it comes. 1 day at a time. Its not easy but if you are willing to make it work and remain faithful to those vows you will find the end of the rainbow TOGETHER.
I know how she felt.. but none of my family members showed up to my wedding or my daughter's births.. it sucks and I was very upset.

I'm sorry. Our family was there, but half our bridal party abandoned us like 3wks before the wedding. It was my 2nd marriage and my husband is 6yrs younger than me. Ironically we are still together almost 13yrs later, 11yrs married. None of the doubters are still with THEIR significant others. Only one apologized and really mended fences.

I'm so very sorry to hear this... My husband met his Dad once when he was 8, 2 days later he went back to prison for life, he was released a couple years ago on a compassionate release because he was really sick, he passed soon after and unfortunately, even though they were speaking, my husband never got to see him again because my husband is serving time... it was a really sad situation. I wouldn't wish it for anyone.
