That's for the useful video. I think, the frequency of feeding depends on the type of fish. Predators can be fed infrequently but in larger portions, and more herbivorous or omnivorous fish should be fed in small portions, but more often.
So much useful information in one video. ❤
Thank's, guys!
9:27 I cannot believe how much I enjoy my snails and shrimp. There are soooooo many cool snails out there with crazy abilities and shells and faces!
In my case, I installed my first aquarium 3 months ago but I read and saw a lot of things beforehand on the subject, especially on your channel.
I fell in love with Corydoras. So I started from there: I tried to make the perfect aquarium for this species: a 120 liter aquarium, with fine sand and plenty of hiding places for these shy fish. So I put stones and roots, arranged correctly accordingly. Then I chose Neon Tetras to keep them company (same needs but different swimming level).
I like to see my corydoras evolve, their different characters, some never stop playing along the glass, others are more shy and stay in the background. I also like to observe the interactions between corydoras and neons during food distribution.
Thank you (from France)
3:28 wow the betta ❤
Great video! Well produced and with amazingly beautiful shots! For me, an aquarium is primarily about the fish, the shrimp, and the snails. Plants and hardscape are nice but secondary. I just love watching the animals move around.
As for my favorite fish, that's hard to say. I do like colorful ones, such as guppies, but I think I have to choose the betta.
I’ve just set up a 60cm shallow just for Chilli Rasbora (and some shrimp) and scaled it to fit them. Seeing many fish of the same variety looks great.
Shrimp are very, very cool. I agree ❤
Shrimp and snails are life! 😂 🐌 💚
What an inspiring video. I can't really pick a favorite but I am very fond of my orange Venezuelan corydoras. I have had a group of them for about a year an a half now and not only have they all done well, they've got great personalities.
I love fish that you can almost never see, like the Striped Rafael Catfish. It makes the viewing experience much more exciting.
My personal favourite Rummynose tetras 👌🏻
Great information, thanks 🙏
Excellent video 😊 thank you… 😊
Smashing video bud
Difficult to choose a favorite, but I'm really fond of rasboras and cardenal tetras... :)
Thanks 👍🏻
FISH EPISODE! GREAT!
Great vid
I am planning a tank with some varieties of Pseudomugils, the Blue Eyed Rainbow fish of Australia and Papua New Guinea...often more available in Europe than they are in Australia.
Cool video!! Tommy, I'm glad you mentioned your Lion King aqua scape. Have you seen Kung Fu Panda 4? There were a number of scenes that reminded me of your Iwagumi scapes. Please try a Kung Fu Panda inspired build and add some Panda Coreys to the scape. :-)
I Love Congo"s but would not have them because of their aggressive nature. Great content, love the video 😃
Rummy nose tetras... great schooling fish
German ramirezi is my favourite fish !.
1:02 we don't want to leave you Tommy 😂❤
Footnote:
I think it is very important for fish health to keep in mind the natural habitat.
Not just water parameters.
But actual natural environment.
For example shy fish that live in dimmed light rivers with lots of plants and tree roots in the water dont feel good in a brigh light iwagumi scape.
I feel like its our responsibility to pay attention to that.
My favorite fish that you dont see so often are Pentazona barbs.
They stay close to the bottom and school really well. And they are friendly for barbs
You can keep them with long finned fish with no issues.
Right now i have 2 fish tanks with different looking aquascapes.
And for the live stock i kepts one tank Asian and one South American to avoie them to appear to same.
Cheers!
Thank you. It depends on our preference at the end. If we need an aquascape for fishes or fishes for aquascape?😅
Hello, the video is very interesting, all the combinations and all the aquariums are magnificent. I'm planning to put some Trichopodus leerii with a shoal of Hemigrammus bleheri but I don't know yet if it's the right combination. If you have any ideas, I'm interested :)
Danio Margaritatus (Galaxy Rasboras) ❤🥰😍
And Also the video was simply Awsome 😎👌
just added Galaxy Rasboras to my scape and absolutely loving them :)
Hemmigramus species my fav❤ Very underated😢
My favorite fishes are: Apistogram, Male Betta and most of Corydoras
Pea puffer is my fave fish ! Make a video using them!
14:52 what a shot 👏🏻 🤯
Can you also specify which fish to avoid for different aquarium styles or in general?
Спасибо за видео. Я сейчас очень хочу стайку Boraras Brigittae. У меня есть маленький 10 литровый аквариум диорама и это единственные рыбки, которые там будут комфортно себя чувствовать
I've recently got a few rummynose rasbora which are really beautiful in a planted tank. How do you keep nerite snails from spotting up your beautiful aquascapes with their eggs?
Hey Tomi, it's "skewed" without an "r" 👍
Pearl Guramis to me, for they're wonderful colors
We want to see you in aquashella (Dallas). I ❤️👉 guys.
My favorite fish is the blue eye Congo zalm 😊
Need info would like to do nano setup with fishes can u help me providing list of things needed from soil to co2 what are very important to start I m from India.
Thank you,
Is Amano shrimp eat alternathera plant ?
And can I add cardina shrimp in hi tech tank specially in weekly changing water 50%, can it tolerate this big water change?
Caridina Shrimp ??? It's probably more depending on the parameters being consistent with 0 fluctuating , but you Have to add the new perfectly matching water as slow as you can and this will help with almost any fish or shrimp if you can find the best pump for refilling !!!
👍👍👍
Considering I'm also a part of aquascaping so I like all the clean up crew but it starts with guppies 😂
I want to build a setup for my 3 species of kuhli loaches. I'm not really sure which plant are compatible with kuhli loaches behaviour.
Hi kuhli loach really loves fine sand (like Sansibar), for the plant no compatibility problems with them exept carpeting plants like Cuba.
Guys, regarding nutrition, what do you think about fasting day?
Your fish fasting or you fasting?
If it's fish fasting, once a week is good. If you mean you fasting, then once a week is also good 😂😂😂
Do you require heater in your planted tanks?
Hi green aqua can hlp me how to clean driftwood which turned into black 😢hlp me😊
just a doubt.. do we have to position the air diffuser like co2 diffuser like the bubbles shouldnt go up straight and have to spread out all over the tank? Is it possible for air bubbles go straight upward and can fully dissolve in water? Pls reply..
The o2 dosent diffuse like co2. The air bubble simply creates agitation in the water surface thus leading to gaseous exchange. More surface agitation = more oxygen
@@mistervgw8307 thank you. Now i can place air diffuser in a way that bubbles can go straight up and dont have to worry about ways to spread it throughout tank like co2.. thanks very much..
@@tomyangel-jq3xd 👍👍👍
celestial danios
63 liters i have 10 neon tetras , 10 rummynose tetras , 6 corydoras sterbai , 2 siamesse algae eater , 2 german ramz ? Wdyt?
My favorite fish is not really a fish for aquascaps it is a blood parrot cichlid
Should I feed them every day? 15:13
Feed them twice 6/7 days of a week or 5/7
Japanese rice fish
& also dont buy glofish
If you are beginner then dont
