Fluffu I wouldn’t even be mad if they did tbh. I love Wayforward, if they wanted it taken down I would do it. For now though, we can enjoy the music on here :)
This track and Arena Town as a whole have this old rpg feel to it. You know, the basic happy go lucky rpg town that you start in. It even has a generic mayor and everything. I actually like this town because of that.
It sounds like the very same instrumentation from DuckTales Remastered (from which Half-Genie Hero borrowed its design foundations, from which SatSS is built), so I'm not surprised in the least. Good ear, though!
@@GDhex12 There are indeed credits, I was curious about this myself so went ahead and checked it out. There are actually five composers this time around: Professor Sakamoto, Mark Sparling, Maddie Lim, Gavin Allen and Alexander Aniel. (I personally know of Mark Sparling from his lovely work on A Short Hike, so that was a nice surprise.) Hopefully they release an official soundtrack down the line so we can know who composed each track.
AnimaxRules the soundtrack for this game isn’t terrible. Half genie hero ost is amazing but this ost is good too. I do agree that it’s hard to compete with jake Kaufman haha
"no copyright infringement is intended" ... yes, it was. You're taking someone else's intellectual property and using it in an unauthorized manner. That's the very definition of infringement. Don't be daft. Whether or not the rights owner cares enough to take action is a different story. I enjoy being able to listen to various OSTs here on YT, but too many people grossly misunderstand what acceptable fair use and copyright infringement actually entails.
This song's such a jam. Sometimes I'll hang out in town a little longer just to hear it finish.
On a tropical island
Underneath the molten lava moon
Hanging with the hula dancers
Asking questing cause they’ve got all the answers
Let’s hope WayForward doesn’t take this down, also thanks for uploading this

Fluffu they’re not Nintendo
thier will be 7-8 people who already pirated it and be happy to repost it if they did you know.

Hee Hee Hee... and then things are more than they seem....
gamingawesomeness222 Yeah, this comment was made before I ever found out about the mystery of the town.
I like 2 girls on first floor, they cute. Escpecially one dancing with leaf like skirt. She looks very happy.
Other people nice too.
>tfw when no Jake Kaufman
Am I the only one who got these weird Disney/Capcom from the NES era vibes right around 0:37

Does anyone know who composed this? Is it still Jake Kaufman?
Wayforward isn’t saying who it is at the moment. In replies they’ve just said they’ll have more info soon.
I assume the game itself doesn't have credits for Part 1?
@@GDhex12 Not sure actually. Haven't finished it yet, and been avoiding walkthroughs and stuff.
Is there anything related to credits in the Extras section? I remember 1/2 Half-Genie Hero having access to credits before even finishing the game.

1/2 genie Hero OST Remains unmatched.
It sucks to be "the next composser" after Jake Kaufman.
It really must be a nightmare.

Or it could be that nobody actually cares that much.
