Once only comes once, never again, treasure the moment you have with your friends and family, I know I should have. My family loved Rod Stewart and now they aren't here anymore to see or listen to his songs, my friends aren't here to see the smile I give them from moving away, and its getting harder to listen to Rod Stewarts songs without flooding the room with tears. All what I have to say is.. Thank you Rod Stewart! For being there without realising when I needed you most. The journey still goes.

I have listened to Rod since the late 60’s and my favourite song has been Broken Arrow and that whole album too. I got to attend a concert on Citadel Hill in Halifax, Nova Scotia , Canada and when he sang Forever Young every single person sang it so loud people all around the whole city and the town across the harbour could hear it. It was an amazing experience, I’ll never forget that. The set is amazing, to hear them on vinyl remastered . Wicked, 🥰🙋🏼

Dear Rod Stewart and beautiful Ruby my donut Story Goes 1982 in Beverly Hills I was doing a condo restoration went to get my crew Donuts at 6 a.m. 6:30 I show up to the donut shop and I couldn't park anywhere there was no parking there was a guy standing there I asked him why all these people are here so early at the donut shop he says oh you just missed it but everybody comes here early on Sunday morning to see Rod Stewart pick up his Donuts so I was very discouraged because I missed you but please tell me if the guy was telling me the truth because I would never know unless you tell me right now anyway it's awesome to get a message from Sir Rod Stewart and I was trying to explain the story to Ruby I thought you'd think it was funny anyway thank you so much and I always love your music. mr Big heart P.S. Well I don’t know what happened to my first comment. What an excellent unboxing for Father’s Day. How very sweet. You do look like your daddy! And you have a pretty voice too. It’s gona be a Rod Stewart thirsty Thursday! Sip on some wine and dance around like years gone by. 🥂I named my daughter Maggie May in 1980! And on her 16th birthday I had it blasting out the stereo as she was coming up the street from school! She had the best 16th ever. My mom and I took her to see Rod in 1988 or so. She loved it. Tried to get back stage but didn’t happen. She never forgot that concert 🎶 though. We were so proud to see her reactions to the stage and being at such a large venue. Anyways, 🥂 cheers to you. I hope you get to celebrate with your dad this weekend♥️. Thanks for sharing.

Rod Stewart is a one off & that voice of his is God given & we’ll never get anyone to replace what a generation of true rock stars we once had, so thankfully we have analog vinyl for the seemingly many years ahead
Music should still be recorded analog, there’s something between the 0’s & 1’s we don’t hear anymore

Ruby ive been Rod Stewart fan longer than you have been alive. You doooooo look like your dad. I got in on footloose and fancy free, when hot legs was on the radio...i was a tiny thing, maybe 8 and way too young for those dirty dirty songs...plus i grew up in a country music\church music home so rock and roll gave everyone great concern! Eventually i accidentally played her a sam cooke cover that your dad did and since sam cooke was her fav, she began to see what i saw...and she really liked Rod before she passed away. Anyway footloose and fancy free has some if my favs including the deep cuts of youre insane and born loose OMG the funk is too real. From there of course i backtracked and kept up.
One of my very fav from your dad might be lost paraguayos.
I also gotta say how much i have to thank him for planting the seeds of my eventual love of soul music, as well as the rolling stones, woody and keith solo material, and bob dylan.
Rod is my deepest, most significant musical influence.

If you told me you were Ruby Stewart ..you know ..my dad is Rod Stewart! I would fall flat on my face and pass out so overwhelmed. It is a Super Charming Great Unboxing! I wish the younger generations had a chance to check out the vinyl records as they all sound a hundred times better than all of today's compressed digital formats of songs, If they only knew what they were missing. Have a wonderful Christmas Ruby!
Love the long plays records. The sound is amazing . And what is best is that the music that you listen to in a récord is yours ! Now we have music through systems like Spotify or CZcams music . We pay but if something goes wrong , for example with WiFi you lose your music. So that means that we are not yhe owners of our music.

OMG I have to get this. No longer got a record player but I still have all my old original Albums even though my nearly divorced husband destroyed them !! We had an old mobile home that was in the garden that the kids used to play in when they were little. I kept all my records out there because I couldn't play them with out a deck. Hubby demolished the mobile home while I was in Australia and left the Albums out all night on a chair in the garden .......( of course it rained didn't it .) they were soaking and all stuck together. I am getting angry again thinking about it ! ! Atlantic crossing is my fav too.

That the shrink wrap trick is to rub it horizontally across your denim to get that clean separation on the binded edge.
