There are many underlying issues. No one knows how to solve them. Corruption definitely is one issue, as it creates debt. Overpaying politicians is another, as it creates a huge wage bill, and attracts crooks like flies are attracted to shhh. Then we also have the issue of debt that corruption causes. Debt reduction. Debt restructuring, and debt trading with carbon credits is never brought up. Many things need to be addressed, and firing people including the President will not change them. Can you fire those responsible for Africans debt and looting of natural resources?

I don't like the division created around generations in Kenya - the country isn't just for Gen Z. Moving from one divide to the next isn't productive. Kenya has mainly been tribal for as long as it has existed as a sovereign state, but now we have a new wave of generational divide. I think that as much as there is a movement by the majority (Gen Z), and as Bony admits he is not Gen Z, this whole thing of if you're not Gen Z, then you somehow don't have a say or should keep away will end up creating a huge divide. This could be exploited to the maximum, and once that grows, it will be hard to contain, especially during election time.
