I'll tell you what's harder to fight than the netcode: When you're doing Parallel Quests online with randoms and the game completely fails to trigger the next sequence. We fly through the gate to the next area and nothing happens. We tried everything we could think of to get it to trigger, but the game just decided that we weren't allowed to play the mission anymore. One of the guys we were with decided to disconnect after a few minutes, but me and the other guy messed around until the timer ran out and the mission ended with a big old "FAILED" on screen.
It happened to me a few times once, i'll tell you that, it's very shitty that's still not been fixed.
It's happened to me offline... Xenoverse 2 is fucking dying, that's ridiculous. I even have it recorded, I'm not trying to self promote, just saying, there's evidence of how shit this is.
Psycho barrier is goofy as hell once you realize you have to perfect block all the hits including the extra ones. You literally can’t block mash it. Also it shreds your stamina.
how good is it at actually stopping other Ki blasts though like energy wave combo or the beam supers?
@@Baby-Blue-102 very good. At max barrier It can stop almost all beam ults in the game. Even with 2 you would stop stop super kamehameha almost entirely, only getting hit by the very end of it.

@@gummi5028 Interesting. i doubt I'd ever return to the game but it sounds like psycho barrier is the thing i would start using instead of emperors blast or whatever the turnaround hit super is.

Can you do a move set showing the combination of shield barrier and data input. A counter to both Ki blast and melee. I’ve been using it online and it’s pretty funny to see the opponent can’t use anything but a grab. And that’s when super god shock flash comes into play. It’s broken. And I love it.

My first response to anyone asking me if they should get this game is this: "If you want a fun DragonBall game, this ain't it. I only play it because I can fight the A.I. since they don't cheese or lag out of everything and get random unexplainable invincibility." And to debate Steed's micro-rant, it comes down to the host's connection in everything. Because by default your connection to other joined players will always show perfect. Yes latency effects PQs and other areas, but the invulnerability that that player was getting never occurs for me. Sure some hits might not connect, but that's where patience and capsules come in. I can fight laggy A.I., it is impossible to fight a player under the protection in the lands of make-believe. (1 bar)

An actual netcode fix is unfortunately a unicorn at this point, 7 years later and the game didn’t change at all, let alone PVP which is filled up with lag switchers, modded cacs, giant *FUCKING* namekians, 3 stamina bar majins and more….
Steed you should make a Destructive Demon build, moves names gotta either have Destruction or Demon in the name.
Also gotta rock a gas mask for destructive vibes.

I stand corrected the actual cheeseist super soul is "don't go all out" it deals xl stamina damage, if hit by a stun move like time control and others you can't move then you're hit by xl stamina damage, you can't evasive and you can't limit burst its the cheeseist thing i have ever seen in my entire life in any video game ever. No basic attacks involved at all its not even fighting game anymore. Literally impossible to beat no counter play at all unless you play the exact same cheese build and get the first stun off first @@Where_da_cheese_at

Xenoverse NEEDS rollback net code, or at least a playable net code. This game net code is so bad in local play you or your friend will be on a white screen unable to do anything. This last 1 minute or forever. Say what you want about smash bros net code, but at least I can play local with no issues.

My connection to Xenoverse 2 is garbage and it really ruins the online experience for me, and it's surely not a problem with my connection because other games like Elden Ring run smoothly online.
