Ultra-rare Labelle footage with live vocals from Barry Richards "Rock'n'Soul" WDCA Channel 20! This material is not on the DVD "Barry Richards TV Collection Vol. 1".
Available on Ebay, Amazon and at the website barryrichardsshows.com. DVD contains an amazing array of live footage from Alice Cooper, Humble Pie, Bob Seger, Muddy Waters Little Richard, along with loads of other greats.
Those outfits are so fierce. They were definitely way ahead of their time. Love it.

Whether this is merely rumour or not, I cannot say, but The Spiders did make a stop in New Orleans on that last tour, so there is cause to ponder, eh? LOL!

I love patty labelle and used to work with her sister in social security administration on third and spring garden st in Philly , I saw labelle and the Erlanger at 22nd and market in Philly in which it’s no longer in existence , I was wearing platform shoes , and silver outfit, it was the best show ever I ever forgotten it to this day , I am 71 now I play labelle nightbirds , and takes me back , love u patty , don’t ever. Stop , every time I hear lady marmalade, it takes me back home to New Orleans, and the girls in the bordellos. And I laugh because my uncle use to visit one , that’s all folks,
I love how Patti mentioned that she hoped the record would reach #1, which it did! So glad that this proto-disco classic reached #1 Pop and #1 Soul. Also, it is one of nine songs ever to be covered and/or remade and go to #1 once again, as per the Moulin Rouge version
