Yep. You've read the title. What are you going to do about it?
I could go on and on about why I like them so much, but I have to go to work in the morning so I can't stay up that late.
(I tried squeezing in some renegade dialogue options that I don't usually choose for this arc of ME3 for... character purposes...?)
Hope y'all are having a good day/night! Kisses xx

I always felt bad for Tarquin because it’s not like he was unqualified or that he genuinely made a stupid decision. It was a sound call, it just backfired. This was a great video though bc they really are underrated

The most hearbreaking thing is, it was clear why Tarquin went for the unconventional sneaky tactic that most other turians frown upon; He was trying to be like his dad, make him proud, and show other turians that his dad is not a crank. And he paid for it with his life.

Primarch Victus was a pretty loyal ally, one of the only politicians I liked in this entire trilogy, he actually cooperated with us and kept his promise and didn’t whine about it the whole way down, and his son made the ultimate sacrifice to fix his people’s mistakes, he wasn’t cut out for the mission but he saw it through and made sure it was accomplished even at the cost of his own life. A shame they’re Both pretty underrated characters.

This is so full of lies! "Loyal"? He lied to us! "Didn't whine"? He tried to back off providing help before the assault against the Reaper on Tuchunka! Seriously, Mass Effect fans aren't as smart as they think they are and you're just further proof of that!

@@williamkerfoot8039 the only thing he lied about was the bomb and he acknowledges that it was wrong of him (even then it wasn’t really lying he just withheld information), he never lied about sending help to earth, he kept his end of the bargain, and he didn’t try to back out he was just hesitant on providing turian backup because the turian fleet was already getting decimated and his world was literally burning, he has the toughest job in turian hierarchy that he didn’t ask for anyone would be hesitant on making tough calls too, you’re really leaving out a lot of context here, no need to be a ignorant dickhead lol, but looking at your comments on this vid you seem to have nothing better to do

    They are underrated?!
Primarch Victus is one of the best Turians (outside of Garrus) and most reasonable ones outta there, and the story of his son... really tragic and fits ME3 very well.

I never noticed Victus’ mandibles are significantly larger than Garrus’

I noticed this too but I think most of the turians have larger mandibles than garrus. I wonder if the smaller mandibles are supposed to make him seem more "relatable"

You know. You missed the following dialogue with Wreav, if you spoke to the Primarch.
Wreav: It sounded like you and the Primarch are scheaming behind my back, Shepard.
Shepard: We don't. This doesn't involve you.
    Wreav: ......It better not...

ooh, that sounds like a good one!
to be honest, I probably didn't catch it because I avoided Wreav as much as possible in my renegade playthrough - I don't really like him or find him that interesting.
but thank you for that, I appreciate it!

If these two are "underrated", then they're so underrated that they're OVERRATED! I liked the Primarch at first but in all honesty, turning to the krogan was the best he could come up with? He didn't even stop to consider anything else! Even if Wreav is around, he's still all for the genophage coming to an end and that looks pretty bad given the circumstances.
Overall though, what sums the two up best lies in these two words: THEY LIED! Primarch wouldn't budge on the "Cerberus" bomb and his son didn't say anything at the tine either. As a matter of fact, his sons incompetence and initial willingness to quit--despite knowing what was on the line too!--left his death feeling pretty damn weightless!
Then after the mission, the Primarch had the gall to justify himself to the krogan leader with a couple of excuses that even he knew weren't going to fly, he had the gall to justify his lies/"secrecy" to us afterwards, and he had the gall to try and back out of supporting the Tuchunka assault before it even began!
All in all, it was pretty damn irritating how this game forced you (and I can't stress that enough) to like them despite all they put you through! I'm just glad I realized that and I now see the Victuses for what they are: overrated!

    • @ReasonablySizedChungus
      @ReasonablySizedChungus Před měsícem +3

Umm, no. The entire point of Tarquin Victus' sacrifice is that he was an incompetent wimp before. That's what makes his willingness to literally nuke himself to save the Krogan/Turian relations hit so much harder. He's a flawed character and flawed characters are good.
