      @guillaumeroussel8633 Před 2 lety +4

      @@idontknowagoodname5960 Riot could tie League of Legends accounts to the national ID of a player. For instance, you would need to give a scan of your passeport to create an account or to keep using your actual one.
      It might sound excessive but for things like creating an account in an online broker or betting website you need to do so. Also, I've been already asked by gaming companies to send my ID to confirm that I was the owner of an account so I think they can legally do it.
      You would still be able to create several accounts but they would all share sanctions. If you are chat disabled on one, it goes to the other accounts. Same thing for AFK low priority queue.
      Sanctions would progress on all accounts rather than one. If you are chat restricted with account one and keep being toxic with account 2 you will directly get a ban.
      If you keep refusing to act like a decent human being, you will end up getting perma banned and you will never be able to create another account since your ID would be blacklisted by Riot.
      It would also remove problems like account stealing and accounts farmed by bots in order to be sold.
      Alternatively, they could go for a less radical solution and implement the low priority queue from Dota 2 which from what I've read, is quite effective.

I definitly agree with you, this would solve a lot of problems. Even the fact that you would be playing under your true identity (no fake names or emails in accounts details) would probably slow down the incredible amount of toxicity that game delivers, because who wants to be an asshole when you can be easily exposed and punished under your real name ? Not a lot of people compared to how many of them are flaming out there.
      Also i think if they ever ask for an ID to create an account they should limit the number of accounts linked to this ID to ONE, and only one... It would solve the smurf issues probably

    This is such an inspiring topic. Most players don't ever master more than just 1 role, and it gets to the extent where they can only see things from the perspective of their 1 role. At least that's how I see it. I know that "jg gap" mentality didn't sprout up until I was a few years into playing. But the game has been changed so much to the point where you do need teammates to win for the most part. It just really sucks that people don't take responsibility for their play in lanes.
    The game also made the emphasis on early game and winning lane so stressful that its amazing that players don't get tired of face rolling for kills and try to learn how to play the game safe.

Back when I was an ADC I wasn't relying on a Jungler to get me kills and win my lane, I wasn't even relying on my support and nobody in this game should rely on some1 else to win their lane or roll. I learned to play League on Yummi. My friend is Diamond and he was basically taking me botlane and explaining things to me. I didn't have to pay attention to my positioning or to avoid enemy skillshots, and I could focus on just his health and understanding what was going on. But you are right, I realized I was a bad Yummi, got better, started to learn other champions and now, I only play her from time to time. It can a good pick, because in late game she's really strong.

    came here from reddit, and you are 100% right. it always sucks when your laners blame you instead of just admitting that they played poorly. the best thing you can do when playing jungler, and to an extent, support, is simply muting all. sure, you will miss out on pings, but a lot of times it's not nearly as bad as doing poorly because your team is tilting you.

    The rampant toxicity aimed at jungles is the main reason I gave up on the role entirely and moved into the mid and top lanes. I'll play jungle if I get filled or I'm with friends who don't play the role, but that's it.

    I think the best way to think about it is - it happens to the enemy team too, so if you can ignore it and be cool, be the best you can be, you will climb over those who cant.

      i think sudden impact > cheap shot.
      if you break your E + R combo with sudden impact you actually do a pretty decent ammount more damage, especially vs squishies.
      but hey, i play ap seju supp atm... (Warmogs/+ ruby cysteal/ sorc boots/ demonic embrace/ liandrys anguish.
      i've got pentakills on enemy teams doing baron before :)

    I'm pretty casual on LoL, coming from Dota2 since it was too toxic for me. stayed casual main support, tried solo que to change it up and got pushed into top lane by the rest of the team. needless to say got flamed all game for not knowing what to do and falling behind havent really gone back to try solo since then been a bit of painful memory since then. watching and listening to this makes me feel better that it happens to everyone no matter the position you play. thx for the commentary on this video.

    Kat: Trundle go get a job loser.
    Me: I do have one, it's called babysitting this Yone. The pay is shit, the hours suck, and the boss is inept.

  • @friendlygiant1507

    I honestly am (although way less now) pretty toxic, it's something this game brings out of me, i'm currently going for the "forcing kindness" approach and notice myself slowly kind of believing it? if that makes sense, which while i get a bit tilted, i generally shift to positivity quite fast.
    Though i never feel the need to outright int or make the game as horrible as possible for others.
    It's nice to see the protentional perspective of another player dealing with toxicity on the daily.

    • @ElRoba97
      @ElRoba97 Před 2 lety +1

      That's a great approach my friend! Being as positive as you can not only improves your team's gameplay, but you could also find some good teammates or friends to stick With! I did my finds doing so in the past and I really appreciate meeting the people that I still play with to this day.
      Gotta say, sometimes it gets hard to get along with your team, and I feel less responsive or positive when things get heated... When you've been dealing with very common and repetitive behaviours you kind of give up trying to cheer things up and just try to do your own thing while you ignore their rants.
      Anyway, it's kind of the opposite case from yours, since I tend to focus more on myself now rather than looking up for others, but still appreciating good minded players and having a good time with them.

    You deal in that way that you block all player textual communication and paste a rule set of how they can contact your champions with pings. Then while playing as jungle after every camp you ping whats your next move. Only time you dont ping is when you are staying on lane, soon as there is a change you ping.
