hi i have same laptop and same problem the solution is very simple just go to control panel > power option > change plan settings > change advance power setting > the find processor power management under that find processesor performance boost mode if its missing just search on youtube you would find method how to enable it once you find it just disable the turbo boost and second step is to disable hibernate option just launch cmd as administrator and right the following command "powercfg.exe /hibernate off" vivobook 16 pro temp limit is 72 degree once it cross the temp it start crashing hope this helps

warzone have some issue with all the i5 13500H light weight series... kyun I don't know.. many ahve complained about this but i have faced another issue of temp rising and when i lift the laptop using a stand or colling pad. it runs smooth.. as shown in the video..

Please tell how many youtube 8k videos can gaming laptop with graphics card play. As I want to connect multiple TVs and monitors In future. I use vlc to play CZcams videos. The people in store don't let us to check laptops via vlc. Sale is also coming. I want to buy gaming laptop but don't know if it can handle multiple 8k videos. Then only graphics card will be of use. As graphics card is not only for gaming but streaming, broadcasting, 3d modelling, video decoding, encoding that's why I want to check it for multiple simultaneous CZcams 8k video playing in vlc (known as video decoding).
Intel i7 13 gen laptop processor with 96 execution units can handle single 8k video. But I want to know how many 8k videos can graphics card play simultaneously from CZcams through vlc. Nvidia doesn't tell anywhere how many 8k videos graphics card can handle. I want to be future proof connect multiple monitors, tvs, 4k home office surveillance camera streams and watch them on big screens, benefits are many that's why I want to go for graphics card but don't know how many 8k videos its capable of playing.
First you have to force vlc to use graphics card I nstead of cpu. You also have to search for appropriate settings in vlc and use graphics card hardware level video decoding feature in vlc,
You can also open multiple vlc instances and play 8k youtube videos simultaneously by copying youtube video link in vlc open network stream simultaneously in them , you can check video resolution being played by clicking codec information to make sure if its playing 8k video,
If video lags it must be with vlc settings, heres one such example,
Wanted to post this in case anyone else has a problem. I changed the vlc.exe to vlc2.exe instead of vlc_gpu.exe and windows would then recognize it as an app.
So the process was: Change the file name then go into nvidia control panel and find vlc2.exe in Manage 3D settings/Program settings. Simply changing the file name allows you to use the drop down menu to change vlc to use a dedicated GPU. Renaming vlc will change it from default so hit the windows key, click settings, then apps. In the video category change the default app back to vlc.
I'm using windows 10. Hit the windows key and click settings. Go to apps/default apps and change video player back to vlc.
Next open vlc/tools/preferences/video and change output to Direct3D11 as well as vlc/tools/preferences/inputs and codecs and change hardware accelerated decoding to Direct3D11. Voila! x265 as well as 4k videos are now playing flawlessly.
I think you can keep opening vlc instances and keeping adding CZcams 8k links till graphics card GPU percentage go to 100 percent. Not sure about it though by task manager can tell if vlc is using graphics card GPU or not
Graphics card isn't just for gaming but also for streaming, broadcasting, 3d architecture softwares like auto cad. You don't need to connect external monitor, you just need to show how many 8k youtube streams vlc can play on your laptop screen,nvidia is just giving single decode engine on all graphics card whether 4090 or 3050, I have asked nvidia forum how many concurrent 8k streams decoding it can handle but they don't reply, I suspect its wastage of money to buy their higher graphics card, kindly add this test to your upcoming videos for broadcasters and streamers that is video encode decode test, it will increase viewers as well as you can explain is graphics card is beneficial for future of any user. Thanks please add this video ebcode, decode test to all your future videos.
Please kindly test 8k videos concurrently in vlc from youtube, you can search for various settings, as Intel says you need at least i7 13 gen with 96 execution units which can play at max just single 8k video , and i7 with graphics card is easily around 1 lac 30 thousand, but on other hand i5 with graphics card you can get at around 70000, there's huge price difference, if graphics card on i5 laptop like 3050, 3060 or 4050 can play multiple 8k videos then we don't need very costly i7 laptop CPU which can at max play single 8k video, apart from that by testing 3050, 3060, 4050 for multiple simultaneous 8k video play in vlc you will come to know about decoding capability of these graphics card, if they all play same number of 8k youtube videos means nvidia is actually making fool of customers, once proper settings for vlc are done you can then add this test for all laptops reviews easily, nvidia markets its graphics for video encoding and decoding capabilities saying their graphics card could save hours of time while encoding videos, here I want to know about its decoding capability by vlc video play test, today 15k rs Chinese smartphone can easily play 4k video easily, so how many 8k videos can nvidia graphics card play which is made for purpose of processing videos, look nvidia 4090 graphics card costs alone 1.5 to 2 lakh rupees and they are not telling me how many concurrent 8 k video streams it supports on their 3050, 3060, 4050 their forum from past many days and they also don't disclose their graphics card capability like intel says 96 execution units i7 CPU 13 gen supports max single 8k stream and Intel is also looting selling 40-50000 laptop CPU on their webaite which can at max play single 8k video. Once test done on laptops done such review will be nowhere on CZcams, also it will explain why everyone should opt or not for graphics card.
