  • Talk about upcoming Thanksgiving and a little about my daily routine. The band I'm in called The Senior Discounts as well as a review of my new Jameson 6 string Banjo and how it fits into the band now. This is a new learning curve for Jay and keeping it fresh. This was a previous episode re-edited for compliance after research. Jay plays an original song "Trouble In The End" written many years ago on the Banjar or Guitjo. Positive inspiration! However, I have to get it myself before I can give it to anyone else. I Talk about my favorite Luthier at The Denver Folk Lore Center. I review Tom Mindala's Book "From Maine to Corsica and Beyond". A clip of a typical Senior Discount rehearsal.

Yes it has added another texture to the country songs our group plays.

Dig the tune and amazing it’s tuned just like a guitar yet sounds almost just like a 5 string banjo. Sunday power hour sounds like fun.

@@Jaysjourneymusic The name is Oscar Stern. The Banjitar has a Banjo sound but the body is slightly bigger to help those deep notes resonate

The Banjitar is great cause you can play in all keys without returning
