To be fair, as a Utd fan and a Ronaldo fan, I do see why he would have done the interview aside from wanting away with the club. If you think about it, since arriving he has had nothing but criticism even when he was our top scorer last year. Gary Neville even said on Monday night football that we need him to talk and tell us his own view. This interview was him doing exactly that.
Lol you can give your view, but even other great players like Etoo and Zlatan called out managers they plainly disliked way after they left the clubs that paid them. And neither of them said "I don't respect the manager". That's grounds for more than just being kicked out.

His statement about younger players is spot on! As Piers said if he got the chance to play next to Ronaldo, he would never leave him alone! So, it is crazy to hear that there are young guys who disregard his expertise as an all time great/ veteran on the team! Not to mention aside from Man Utd, there's not a player in the Premier League today that will have a comparative career to his, and that's just being realistic! I'm a lifetime CR7 fan but him and Messi are literally in a different league from the entire planet for their sustained greatness.

There is two ways to make a great interveiw. Either be very confrontational or stroke them by the hair. In both cases you can get people to spill the beans, but my impression is that being able to agree, be friendly, while still digging deeper gives more results. And Ronaldo is right. This interview is damning for sure and it will be the end of Ronaldo at United but if anything, this is not only his route out, but his last ditch effort to make the club realise what a mess they’re in, to make the players realise that what they think is good enough, is not good enough. I sort of believe what Ronaldo said. It also adds up as to how united has performed in the past decade and reactions from others who left the club. But oh boy, that was a horrible interview. Watched the first part, was there really anything for united fans to take offence with. The Glazers lack of investment is what United fans already knew. I can only assume it's a team that has qualified to the knock out stages of the Champions League. For the sake of his brand, I can foresee him either going to Bayern or PSG (probably Bayern though, since I can't picture Ronaldo and Messi getting along in the same team). With both teams being almost automatic winners in their respective league, he can easily add another set of domestic trophies as well as goals in the Champions League.

Ronaldo does not need money and if was like you say, why would he care to expose himself like he did, he could just relax and getting is payroll without any problem.. what I think as Ronaldo as a professional person, M.U fans should know the truth about the club and management, why M.U does not win anything..
