This performance went so viral that it even caught the attention of Ryan Reynolds, and he and Chris ended up actually sending each other merch and talking back and forth. Truly iconic lol
Also, it was filmed on all one stage. There’s some behind footage videos that shows how the train was the inside of the giant tank that they had at the end, and the members had to run all over the place in order to make all of their various shots. Definitely one of the craziest and most unique SKZ performances.

@@BrockTheDon the train is hidden inside the huge tank. they like cover it with the body of the tank 😁 there's fancams or behind the scenes if you want to know more about it ^^
@@BrockTheDon Basically, yeah, the train is inside the tank. If you look at the tank when they reveal it, the front is essentially a set of doors that they closed while Chan was distracting us.
Of course, that also explains where the train set was relative to the stage, because you could see where the tank was.
if you watch the members fancams from this performance you can see them running around the stage to the different sets, im impressed they were running around, singing, dancing and rapping at the same time

I’m so glad you got to see Felix’s abs 😂 you looked away everytime and I was like are you kidding me he’s missing the best part lmao. This definitely was one of their best performances, one of my all time favorites. It would’ve been perfect if hyunjin was in it but unfortunately he was on hiatus at this time because of bullying rumors (which were proven false after the show 🙄) and the company wanted him to lay low for a bit.

The fancams help you see how they set the stage and ran around to the various setups. The subway car was actually inside of the tank.

Felix's "I'm fine thank you, and you?" at the beginning was actually a little joke to BTOB's leader Eunkwang, who'd admitted when the groups met each other that that was basically all the English he knew. Eunkwang (who gave us most of the best reactions of the series) _loved_ it... 😂
What I guess I'm saying is it's really worth watching the whole _series_ at some point if you can; you don't just get a ton of awesome performances, but also a view into how the stages were conceived and arranged, and into the existing and newfound friendships between the different groups. _Technically,_ it was a competition, but you'd barely know it, it was such a lovefest... 😋
With the "like fire" part, I _think_ most of them were actually staying relatively low, with (I'm pretty sure) just Han going high.

This is probably my 2nd favorite live performance of theirs! The growls and the ad libs during the chorus! 🔥🔥🔥 Love the BP original song and love that Stray Kids made it their own, but still stayed true to the original. I think my #1 favorite has to be the Victory Song performance at MAMA 2020!!! I already loved Victory Song but seeing what they did with it at MAMA was jaw dropping. Kind of like this one 😀. I highly recommend checking out the Victory Song Performance video first, then the MAMA 2020 performance so you can see how they changed it. A two in one reaction would be awesome!

imo this one was the best. Victory second and thunderous christmas version third.
Please, if you would be so kind, learn what "ad lib" actually means - it seems most Americans think it means "an aside"
- They stole a tank from Ant Man (like, THE Ant Man -- as in, the Marvel character, hence the tank starting out in shrunken form) and then zapped it from mini size into full size. (They also use that mini tank again in the MAMA performance, but that time Felix was mini-sized as well so he could drive it underneath normal-sized traffic on his way to the performance.)
- It's a live performance in a competition, so yes, it was all one take. The behind-the-scenes content shows how perfectly timed they had to be and how much was going on to make this work.
- The cameraman _can't_ just end it. Since it's a competition performance, every member had an ending fairy. So you can imagine how long the ending-fairy sequence of performances lasted for the groups that had more members than SKZ...
- Hyunjin's hiatus was during Kingdom, so other than the prerecorded intro episode (in which they cut him out of everything they possibly could, but had to leave his actual performance footage), he was not in any of Kingdom. Yet another reason that entire period was hellish.
- MAMA was "Hey, Monster/Cheese/Thunderous."
- They always do every song they cover proud and make sure to respect the original artists. In the case of this particular song/mashup, it was even more certain that they'd give it its due -- Chris and Lisa are good friends, and there's no way he wouldn't do her group's song justice. (Plus she was there that night, as she cameo'd in the performance of "Savage" that iKon, one of SKZ's competitors, did immediately before this performance.)

Since your comment near the beginning suggests that you're not sure what Kingdom was:
Kingdom was a competition show between six boy groups: three 3rd-gen (Ikon, BTOB, SF9) and three 4th-gen (SKZ, Ateez, The Boyz). There were different themes/assignments for each round's performance:
-- Intro Stage, a 100-second performance of one of their award-winning songs to introduce themselves and what they're going to bring to the show (SKZ did a remix of "Miroh")
-- To the World, a rearrangement of one or two of their existing songs and a different stage presentation than usual for that song/those songs (SKZ did "Ja-shin"/"God's Effects"/"Side Menu", aka "Side Effects" + "God's Menu")
-- Re-Born, wherein the six groups are split into three pairs, and the two groups in each pair choose a song by the other group to reimagine and perform (SKZ paired with BTOB; BTOB chose to perform SKZ's "Back Door," and SKZ picked BTOB's "I'll be Your Man (Pray)")
-- An episode that was a break from the show competition and was instead basically a recreational field day/mini ISAC competition, where we got to see the six groups competing in different sports, voting for the prettiest boy, being clowns, bonding with each other, and bffs Changbin and Wooyoung (from Ateez) being MC team Lovey-Dovey and embarrassing their leaders. Also: SKZ in baby-pink track suits.
-- No Limit pt 1, wherein the six group were split into two supergroups of three (BTOB, SKZ, Ateez were Team Mayfly; Ikon, SF9, The Boyz were Team It's One). Each of the two supergroups then split their members into a dance unit (Lee Know, Felix, I.N + members from BTOB and Ateez), a vocal unit (Seungmin + members from BTOB and Ateez), and a rap unit (3RACHA + members from BTOB and Ateez). The vocal, rap, and dance units from each of the two supergroups then competed against each other (Team Mayfly vs Team It's One), and the winning supergroup of each of those stages all received the points for their individual teams (so if Mayfly won, then all three groups that were in Mayfly would receive points toward their individual group's total). So SKZ members are in three different performances in this round -- rap, dance, vocal.
-- No Limit pt 2, where the supergroups are now dissolved and we're back to six individual groups. This performance has no restrictions or limits, so teams are expected to go all out. This is the round of "God's Ddu-du Ddu-du."
-- Who is the King, the finale episode. Each group performed a new original song, and those songs were all released onto music sites on a Kingdom album that same day. This is the round of "Wolfgang." Once Hyunjin came back, they added him into the part they'd written for him, then rereleased the recording, so the version now available for streaming is ot8.
Anyway, Kingdom was hell, and mnet is shady-ass sh1t. But the performances from every team were great, all six groups did themselves proud, and the relationships that were formed between the groups were and are beautiful (half the people on the show adopted Felix, and BTOB accidentally ended up adopting SKZ as a whole, leading to things like 2Min now treating Minhyuk's house as their hangout pad). So the performances and the people made that hellish experience survivable, but six groups and six fandoms came out of it exhausted and in some cases with lingering stress/trauma reactions. (I'm not being facetious with that.)
The show sounds dope af. Why was it hell? Haha

You should check out their Wolfgang performance. There's a version from Kingdom (without Hyunjin) and another version they did once he came back.
the train setting is the same as the truck (the inside of the truck is the train), kingdom performances are recorded like in one take so everything must be on stage as far as i know, in the god's menu + side effects its easier to see! (and you can see also in the making of, there is one making of for each kingdom performance, you can even see 3racha creating the song!! its so cool!)

Stray Kids is really great at doing live performances. Actually, JYP groups are great performers. Just like 2PM during their beastly idol era.

This was a competition show for 6 male kpop groups competed against each other to be crowned kings of the kingdom. This performance was the most watched performance of the entire 10 episodes. I think this was the last kingdom show that Mnet will do or at least they have not announced a new one for 2022. Kingdom Legendary War was the 2nd year. The Boyz one kingdom in 2020 and Stray Kids one 2021 Kingdom Legendary war. All of the Kingdom performances are above live stages they are the most epic stage performances you will ever see. In Kingdom Legendary War Stray Kids also had some amazing collaborations with Ateez and BtoB. And The Boyz, iKon, and SF9 had collaboration stages too. All of the performances were amazing an a must see.

You need to watch "WOLFGANG" the last performance they did for this competition. There are 2 versions, the Kingdom one (In that one Hyunjin is not there) and the one for Kingdom week, that one is OT8 performance, Hyunjin was there. I would say you maybe want to watch both, is amazing.

You should try Kingdom. You will see other boy groups and watch the perfection with Team Mayfly (Stray Kids + Ateez+ Btob; 3 love of mine) Thank you so much for your reactions. Actually Btob had a comeback; they are vocal kings like Mamamoo are vocal queens.
I love this performance so much! I feel like you can't watch this and not be blown away. -one small favour to ask, please reconsider using sp*z as a word, I know what you meant and it was meant kinda positively but it's one of those not too fun for disabled folk to hear words.
