So I promise you that I was saying the same thing when I was reading the script. My name is Brooklyn, and I am the guy who played the role of this nutcase. Even in character and knowing that it was just acting, it felt extremely uncomfortable when we were shooting certain scenes. It was my very first time in front of the national screen, but the lady who plays Mrs Tilly, was in the business already, and she told me not to think of us as them, but think of us as actor's and that's the only thing that made me get through it, and the young lady who play his daughter was in another episode of Forensic Files, so she helped on some things as well. The experience with them was amazing, and the cat was a trip as well. He wouldn't stay still when I had to pick him up 🤣🤣🤣. He was a cool cat though and we had PETA on set to help him get used to me.

She was old enough to dial 911. She admitted that they plotted to rob the woman from day one. There was plenty of time for her to let someone know. She was a willing thief.
I looked this story up, it is worse than that, not only did he ask the child to help, she was pregnant, with his child. He committed suicide on death row.

Ronnie Neal was found dead in his death row cell in June of 2010. He hoarded his prescription anti-depressant pills and overdosed on them.
Poor girl didn't have a chance. But at 16 I don't have a problem with her being held accountable. The crime probably couldn't have taken place without her cooperation.
Turned her out -- He IMPREGNATED her himself! She gave birth to her own sister and his granddaughter while she was in prison!
This is one of the most horrible, disturbing and disgusting cases I have ever seen.
The show held back. If you look into the case Ronnie Neal is even more depraved and barbaric.

I think that this was not the perpetrator's first rodeo. Most criminals don't start out with that amount of violence. He probably was good at choosing his victims. Women that lived alone, far away from loved ones. This woman had an important job and had people that cared about her. So they investigated right away. I am glad he finally got caught.

There's more to this, apparently 15 year old Pearl was pregnant with her own father's baby when she committed the murder. She was released after 5 years rather than 30. Ronnie committed suicide before the death penalty was carried out.

She still is a murderer who showed NO remorse for what she and her father did to Diane and who didn’t deserve to be let out into society regardless of her “pregnancy.” Pearl Cruz should have remained in prison for the 30 years. Other inmates have had their child in prison, so what was different about Pearl Cruz? Why give her mercy??

Such a heinous crime. I might sound harsh, but people should not hire ex-convicts regardless the degree of their crimes. Crimes were choices not mistakes, and I don't believe that somebody really changes, core values remain intact.

I went to an ALC for a short time because I dropped out of my other school because of stress cause by my autism spectrum disorder. It felt like it was two types of people who went to there; the type of people incompatible with traditional learning (like me,) and delinquents...
Seems like those two groups should not be together in close quarters.

The best way is to be kind to students but keep the distance, help during school hours only. Students shouldn’t know where the teacher lives, or giving them a job. In this case that she already helped them by giving them a job, she shouldn’t have answer the door after hours. Of course she was trusting individual but best to send a message to non close friends and non family that everything is done at school not in my home. My home is my castle.
