I don’t know if it’s an extra option but I would have thought a side door by the helm station would make sense. If you are running the boat on your own it would be easy stuff,it might not be a Grand Banks model but there’s plenty of common features.

Hi Mark! The large window at the helm rolls done by the push of a button (like a car) and with the seated helm it makes it very easy to swing your leg over and step out onto side deck. It is actually designed for this use! Unique and creative feature for the same ability as a door.

Palm Beach are fanatical about above deck weight. The cabin walls and ceiling are all carbon fibre, to reduce high weight. Adding a watertight door would add weight.
