- There's a Secret Easter Egg in MW3 zombies that I completely forgot about! This Chessboard easter egg requires 4 signals you need to send by killing 3 mercenary bosses around the map. This will unlock a secret VAULT and grant you access to some good loot!

What i like to do is use the crane in zone 2 to land on top of the hotel and skip all the claymores. You can pretty much land on top of him.

The Rook fight was the first thing I encountered in my first ever game of Zombies. I had no idea what was happening
Had the same with the Bishop, no idea what’s going on. Only just started playing Zombies and still dont have a clue what’s going on
Something everybody should do once. I’d like activision to tweak the map with colors on the map for each perk station and the storm standing out on the map easy to see. My eyes just aren’t what they used to be. Rewards need to be tweaked too. Lastly, in coming seasons, I hope they bring back the collecting items for passive rewards the way it was in dmz. So much potential for the game but castrated by the money greed of activision.
Totally, there's absolutely no reason they can't have the Perk Stations clearly visible on the tacmap. Why tf do they not look any different??!
They really need to go down the DMZ route of having hidden quests that give you proper in-game rewards.

Ah I’m only at the start of video but a good tip is start with The Knight, the armoured guy on the car that’s visible on the map.. start with him because if someone else kills him & does NOT transmit, it will despawn after some time & the Easter egg Vault can’t be completed.. always prioritise The Knight first & the rest comes easy 👍🏼
Just to add to this - The Knight’s car loops anti-clockwise around the map following the train tracks spawning in by Papov.
When you start the match, get to the rail line and drive clockwise along the tracks to the Bishop. You will always find the Knight on the way there.
Unlike the three car convoys, he will not stop unless you take out the driver.

There was a bug that allowed you to open the map early and his vehicle would be motionless there for a second

I said Popov as i found him there a few times on spawn. Now and again some of the mercenaries would be suspended in mid air left behind when the truck drove off.
Just wondering now… how do you know it’s G6? There’s no player spawns in that or the adjoining grids.

You can use something to fly up to the top of the hotel to skip the mines and stuff
It would be awesome if accessing the vault in-game would unlock a type of vault in zombies gear, to go alongside the Stash. To hold money/essence with which to come back into the next match.

I dont think this egg is for people that play all the time i think its for people who lose everything or are just starting out to get somewhere quicker and not having to go into the red zone and risk what little stuff you do have
I have done all of those pieces and been to that secret room, but all on different runs. Had no idea what the purpose was at all!

The loot was underwhelming. I was hoping by your thumbnail pic I missed an extra room and several more stacks of gold bars. 4 or 5 stacks would totally make this worth it.
I suppose it’s all tier 1 so a good Easter egg for new folk. If there was more stuff there it might be farmed and tombstoned.

I've done the vault quest at least 30 times. The easiest way is with essence and zip thru the portals to each location. Or redeploy. You can float in to the top of the hotel and take out the sniper and avoid the mines. Also, the truck rarely stops if you shoot the mercs. But of you unload on the truck.... And lastly, if you only send 2 transmissions, and someone else has the others, or they don't appear as when the mercs drive thru the storm, you can still unlock the vault. Again, you only need to phone calls, as long as another has been sent. You just have to be the 1st one to the vault. One last thing......the scorcher is perfect for doing this. I did the whole vault quest yesterday in under 15 minutes.
Yesterday i was walking to my destination, another player was driving on the same street behind me. He honked his horn at me and asked where i was going? He drove me there, I gave him essence and we parted ways. Aside from constant donations from this beautiful community that was the best moment in the game so far. Thank you beautiful stranger!
Man you must not play much or something, most of us would've even take your essence just for giving you a ride. Personally I don't even take essence no matter how far I have to go to revive you

@obnoxiouscamotoe4816 since you asked, my kills aren't registering for the serpentinite camo. Do I have to get similar gun types to gold first? It's so frustrating.
@Treycandoit The way it goes is:
Golden Ivory requires the challenges for only that specific gun.
You need a certain number of Golden Ivory guns in each class to unlock the Zircon Scale challenges.
You need 36 Zircon Scale guns to unlock the Serpentine challenges.
You need 36 Serpentine guns to unlock Borealis.
Does that make sense?

As soon as you see the 3 prongs on the mine then the cap you shoot that staying low and you will be safe and instead of going through the door on his level get the 2 trip mines at the top one top landing 1 outside the door on the roof drop down and kill him from the over hang. I do this one most every match and activate h7
If the update the game where you have to exfill gold bars for missions this definitely will help
I've seen you have a lot of good luck in your videos, but finding the knight DIRECTLY after the rook was crazy to see
Not trying to be rude but he drives right by you if you stay in hotel. Just use the sniper and take out the driver

Also worth noting if you kill the bishop too close to the wall the transmission will bug and you will not be able to pick it up
OMFG I've been sending those transmissions and never once thought to look and see what they're actually for lolol. Well now I know.
It’s a bit sad that MWZ had so much potential for hidden stuff and fun Easter eggs or even blueprints to exfil with and unlock etc etc (like the warlord, when you kill him you get a special named Haymaker but you can’t unlock it as a blueprint) the perk EE are very tame

for the first one, you can stand outside ground floor , hit him with aether blade when hes on balcony
You can actually go outside the map an breach the vault without opening it by using the scorcher gun by flying through roof with it 😅
I tried that and pancaked myself on the ceiling 🤣
@angeltoro6336 you jump on box to left of vault room an boost to fly with scorcher 3 times then it pops out of the map above roof then u can walk back into vault from above an collect the items, shows you how on CZcams if you look it up.
I was grinding camos, and all of my weapons are unlocked now but not this 5.56, i have done all challenges but its still not unlocking, any solution to this?
I would do it if the gold bars stacked in your inventory, and you could exfil with them. I pray in the season 2 update, they do something about the money system that allows us to exfil with our money. Having to tombstone, and loosing insured weapon slots gets old
Those portals have an specific code if you know the codes you dont have to spend essense on them and you can go around the map easyu just have to know which code to use
I do this Easter egg almost every game I play and the weapons are always random and it’s possible to get a wonder weapon or a case
Even if it was like a few more gold bars. So the cash outweighed being able to do contracts for the same amount of time.

How do you open the new bunker on the roof of the tallest building with the 2 cranes?
Actually their not bosses, you can just look on top of the door and u will see 4 green or yellowish lights and everytime you do one of those things you have to collected it will turn red. So the chest pieces don't matter.

Apparently there is a very low chance to find one in a cash register... found one trying to pick up a contract earlier this week and I had to pick up my jaw off the floor!

If you go straight up to the roof with the rook u can skip the century gun and kill him from roof on the balcony he sits

Do contraband weapons hold their rarity through new game or is it only legendary/epic/etc. for the game you find it?
All weapons lose their rarity and pack-a-punch upon leaving the match.
Only for the game you’re in… when you bring a contraband gin back in on a new game it gets reset to lowest black rarity…
Pretty sure its just the game you find it. In the games after they keep the attachments and not the rarity.

The vault is not worth the trouble. I got 2 gold bars, that's what 10k? A couple vest and bp which i already had.

I just run in to the 1st room to avoid the turret the climb up and over to the room hes in and ambush the sniper. I leave the turret alone and let it kills zombies that come up the stairs.
