FUN FACT: This actually happened in real life, where a man was speeding down a highway when his accelerator got stuck, he called 911, but they weren't helping. He crashed the rear of his car into a nearby parking lot. He said it was that "If he was going to die, he didn't want anyone injured." Incredibly, he only came out with a dislocated thumb.

@@ferdcar no there has been another crash just like that one, but it happened with a black 2005/2008 mustang I believe, and he turned right to crash into the trees instead of injuring people, he walked out of the car is minor injuries,
Also thr one in 2009 of the toyota pedals getting stuck it the floor mat that get pushed by the driver everytime he moves his leg so it ended up on top the accelerator, pressing it, nobody knew that happened that's he tried to brake but no matter how hard he does the accelerator was still pressed. before they knew it was already over.

If this happens to you IRL, shift to neutral (or push clutch if you have manual), you can also try to put your foot under the pedal and pull up on it. Absolute worst case, turn the key off and then back on without starting it, but know that you will lose power steering and brake assist.
