This was my first time seeing it - and it's a really nice piece to add to anyones magical collection.
(I'd have loved it if it was fully waterproof, but it's not one to use in the rain - sadly!)

I've been waiting for that for years! I think it's one of the coolest artifacts in The Wizarding World beside from the Time Turner.
I've actually thought with today's tech it would be possible to make working Weasley clocks. They'd have to connect somehow with each family member's phone's GPS tracking. They couldn't update everywhere but you could have the generals "school" "work" etc. With those plugged in as gps locations so the clock hands move...
It would probably require a long set up process, but with Google maps probably wouldn't be too difficult. I definitely think the tech is available.
@@JennLeighanne okay no muggle technology is allowed! If that were the case we want expensive clock. I would rather just have it exactly as it was in the films.

I'd love the Weasley clock.
Fabric ceramic coat will totally transform this into a functional umbrella as it will make it 100% hydrophobic. Something like CeramicPro or GibsonShield will do an amazing job

@@harrypotterfan1623 I've seen the beaters and bat in a Wizarding World shop tour, but alas no snitch replica is ever as good as the movie version! I'd love to get my hands on a full set of quidditch gear tho.

B00_bit there could still be one designed and made. Someone had to create all the wands in the first place I don’t see why a design for Hagrid couldn’t be made. Plus isn’t there a flash back of when Hagrid was young and still had his wand??

They made them years ago! I came to the comments to clamour for a re-release. Noble Collection had a set that came with Luna’s Radish Earrings, Butterbeer Cork Necklace, and Spider Ring. The set is so expensive when it crops up on eBay these days.

Yes, I absolutely love that this is Hagrid's umbrella... But after watching this video I'm like 10 times more in love with it because, oh my God what a perfect little parasol! It even has the metal tipping so that it could classically be used as a ladies walking stick❤🎀❤
Oh your glasses re so cute!! I’m actually going to universal today (for my birthday, technically tomorrow) so this was a great surprise on my way to the theme park! Butter beer and Hagrids roller coaster here I come!! The umbrella is supper cool to! I’m glad they have an actually one now- and it is pretty large.

The handle/stick IS the wand. He stuck them together using the material to make the umbrella I mean, this is basic HP 101 lol the umbrella IS the wand. It’s not inside. When they break your wand they snap it in half, leaving two pieces, not lots.
He even says it in the books.
@@tombenfell5323 Hagrid's wand was 16in long. The two pieces were put into the shaft. They don't make up the entire umbrella shaft.

Don't know if someone mentioned this already but about 150 years ago umbrellas were always made of non-waterproof materials. They worked like that: when they were comletely wet, the rain was carried down through the wet fabric to the umbrella's edges 🤓 But I don't think you want it to get all soaked^^'

The one thing I'd like Noble to do actually isn't from the Wizarding World (shock, horror). I would really like them to do replicas of the Three Elven Rings from LOTR. Last time I checked they only did Galadriel's ring, so I would love the set

Cherry, Hagrid is such an overall beloved character. J.K. Rowling herself has said how much she thought of Hagrid. She knew from the first book that Hagrid would carry Harry in the last. Also Harry and Dumbledore adored Hagrid. That is why Dumbledore used the power of the Elder wand to illegally restore Hagrid's wand to the repaired state and then to transfigure Hagrid's wand into the Umbrella, so that no one would be the wiser of what it really was because he knew that Hagrid was innocent. [ That is definitely what Dumbledore did, whether it says so in the book or not!! Sometimes you need to read between the lines of a book straight into the Authors heart to find an answer. ] So naturally every serious Harry Potter collector would desire Hagrid's Umbrella as a reproduction for there collection. I think over all that the Noble collection made a pretty nice item for us to buy, collect and enjoy. I think that they chose to make it an old fashioned cotton umbrella because it is more natural. I sure will be interested in seeing how you and others display such large items like Hagrid's umbrella, The Nimbus 2000, The sword of Gryffindor and Malfoys serpent wand cane, [ I voted for you Cherry ]

i think the band was there because that's how Dumbledore attached the tow broken wand pieces. cuz Hargid got exeppled they had brake is wand! cuz if not he of course he will brake the rules. ( cuz for care of magical creatures he buys sooo many ealigle magical creatures! )

Love it! You could easily use Scotch guard or a similar fabric protector spray to make it water resistant :) I've used it on shoes, tents, backpacks etc and it does help a lot. Would help protect it from fading at least from the sun.
I use the waterproofing spray for hiking boots all the time, works well
