How families can support transgender and nonbinary teens

As teens develop into adults, the path of self discovery looks different for everyone. Wednesday Gomez, a ninth grade student from Austin, Texas, identifies as non-binary, a recent discovery in their path to adulthood. Wednesday uses a new name and pronouns to express their identity. They talk about their path to transition and how it has affected their current life with both parents and friends.
Jake Waggoner, another teen from Austin, recently came out as transgender. He and his family talk about what his transition was like for them.

These parents did the wrong thing, they should have brought to a real councillor along with themselves to teach them that they are being indoctrinated. The kid is most likely just gay. I hope they don’t allow these kids to get butchered by the medical establishment.

@@dontreadthisplease2416 A real councillor would have told them that feeling uncomfortable in your body as a teen who is going through puberty is normal, only a groomer and a child indoctrinator would ever affirm the misconception that they have been mysteriously born in the wrong body and informed them that they are a victim of this social contagion, but no, instead, they are leading them into a lifetime of mental instability by making them think that it’s possible to be in the wrong body. This is not a physical condition, it’s a mental perversion of reality. Pure child abuse.

These parents are delusional. They need to educate themselves as to the origins of this ideology. To affirm the impossibility of transgenderism and think that an immature minor can be their “teacher” is madness.
