I was watching and hoping he would survive but he wasn’t developing as he should and the siblings were just to big and would crush and mistake him for food. He was on his way to starving but now he peacefully on the way to Rainbow Bridge 🌈 Rest Lil man 5 ❤️🌈🐥😢
I have already said in other chats of this stork's nest my opinion. But the others said that it was just nature. And that is partly true. Normally people often do not get with wild animals when this animal comes around... But here from my point of view this situation was not the case... A stork nest is observed with a webcam. And you could see exactly what would happen to the little stork.... But people just look away!!! Is there no bird protection in Czech Republic? How many storks die in Czech Republic because the power lines are not yet in the ground? Is that then also nature? I take off the biggest hat to the helpers who feed the little ones several times a day in Mladé Buky!!!! Thank you for that!!!
the storks have all ready over burden the population, that is why one or two of the nestlings do not survive... many times killed by the parent bird because it knows that it cannot supply enough food from the resources available. Almost all birds have "spares" in case the oldest of the hatchlings do not survive. You see it in almost all raptor nests.
Raptures, Boobies and other species depend on siblings to cull the weak but that is rare for a storklet so the parents have to do it. I am sure it isn’t something they enjoy. I don’t agree with extra feedings either. I used to watch monkeys in Cambodia. Human intervention has destroyed them. They are obese, get diabetes and 90% treat their babies like crap because of laziness. A lot get poached too since there is no fear. You don’t mess with nature. Things become imbalanced then it affects the ecosystem. Just ask FL about that.
A parent bird eliminating a chick so the rest of her storklets have better odds at surviving, IS nature. A Stork hitting a power line, isn’t nature and IMO, if the bird needs help, man should help it. There’s a BIG difference between what nature intends and the fault of mankind.
Tyle razy się zwraca z prośbą do opiekunów gniazda o uratowanie najmniejszych bocianiatek i zapobieganie tragedii i niestety nie zwracają na to uwagi przykre ☹️ przecież są ośrodki aby uratować maleństwa, ewidentnie było widać że malutki nie da rady samodzielnie przeżyć , po to są kamerki i obserwatorzy aby zapobiegać takim tragedią i nic w tym kierunku się nie robi!!!
The incessant begging for food must be a strong motivation for the parents to select a storklet. As they get older, I noticed the storklets can get quite aggressive, shoving their beaks down their parents throat or stabbing at their face which can injure an eye.

@@user-mr2el2vx8r ですよね！！よくこの鳥の他の動画も観たりするんですけどめちゃくちゃ小さい子がいたりするんですよね。親鳥にも兄弟鳥からも踏まれたり餌もまともに食べれなかったり…ってか、卵の時なんて孵化するまでどうやって育ててたんやろって不思議で仕方ないです。
この親鳥、粗末に扱っていたわけではないと思います。
別動画で大きな兄弟が余所向いてる間にコッソリ小さい子に餌をあげてました。
本来なら間引きされてもおかしくはない体格の差ですよね…
それでも育てていたのですから大事に思ってたのではないでしょうか。
