In this video of old rusty antique German clock restoration, I got this clock, it was completely rusted and all the parts were incomplete. First of all I removed the rust of this antique clock and polished.

at first it was a dirty broken alarm clock...now it's a clean broken alarm clock :) probably with a quartz movement inside

Absolutely amazing! Ingenuity, technique, imagination and improvisation are unmatched. It's a shame you can't get the mechanism to work, that ringing feature sounds amazing. I also do repair work. but you guys did a great job. But the video editing is also absolutely excellent. -

There is no mechanical clock moving hand 1 second step. See the center of clock. It is quartz movement.

Schade um das schöne Uhrwerk, das hätte ein richtiger Uhrmacher restaurieren dürfen und kein Bastler der davon keine Ahnung hat. Anstatt dem schönen Uhrwerk hast du ein billiges China Quartzwerk reingebaut. Alles umsonst im Video Hauptsache er hat am Ende das originale Uhrwerk weggeworfen und nur fürs Video ausgenutzt.
Solche wertvollen Uhren dürfen einfach nicht in falsche Hände geraten, sonst passiert eben sowas leider.
Das Video tut mir im Herz als zukünftiger Uhrmacher einfach weh. Man hätte wenn man mehr Erfahrung darüber über Restaurierung von mechanischen Uhren gehabt hätte einiges mehr aus dem Wecker machen können als dieser Schrotthaufen am Ende! Das kann doch echt nicht sein.
Im Komplett Restauriertem Zustand mit originalem Uhrwerk und vollständiger Funktionsfähigkeit hätte man 400€ dafür verlangen können.
Aber ne mit so einer schlechten Restaurierung kam dem schönen Wecker leider nichts zugute!!! Vor allem dem Hochwertigen Uhrwerk!
