    VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
    This video tutorial has been on my RVC (requested video content) list for some time now. Among many confusions that Solar DIYers have, matching a solar panel/PV array is one of them. Most of the time, they spend a lot of money buying the wrong solar panels for their solar power systems. Let’s not exclude professional solar installers. I know some of them and have worked with those who have the same concern. It’s always easier to use an online solar calculator, software, or mobile app. But what if you don’t have access to these digital tools? Then we simply just have to do all the calculations manually.
    What I discussed in this video tutorial is what I do and have been using for all the residential solar installations that I’ve had. Just by having a thorough read on the solar charge controller o hybrid inverter’s specifications and manual, you will be able to configure a PV array that technically matches your solar charge controller or hybrid inverter. If you just have enough patience and spend enough time watching this video tutorial, I can guarantee that you will have a worthwhile investment. Life is never-ending learning, and there is no shortcut to it.

    Magandang araw aking mga Padawan! 👋Dalawang minor correction lang po. Ang una ay sa @30:50 mark, yong color coding ng series connection sa ibabang panels ay hindi ko naitama matapos na ma-copy and paste mula sa itaas. Pero tama naman ang main postive line to inverter. Ang pangalawa ay sa @38:47 mark, hindi ko naman naitama ang slide title sa itaas matapos kong ma-copy and paste ang "SRNE 5.5kW HI SETUP." Ipapaumanhin po ninyong lahat, wala akong excuse dito at inaamin ko ang aking pagkakamali. 😌🙏

    Sir. Maraming salamat po sa mga video niyo. Marami po akong natututunan. Tanong ko lang po ang opinion niyo sa microinverters. Pagkakaintindi ko kasi, ang microinverter ay convert niya yong DC voltage sa AC, paglabas pa lang galing ng PV panel. Mas mainam po ba ito kumpara sa string inverters? Mas simple po ba ito na kung saan mas konti yong variable loss of power. Ano po ang magandang diagram/design gamit ang microinverters? Ano mga safety circuit breaker na kailangan? Salamat po.

      DC MCB Amp Rate = Total Isc * 1.25
      Example: 13A Isc x 1.25 = 16.25A (round off to the next available amp rate) 20A

      Ang alam ko ay marami ng gumagamit neto sa Deye inverter na 5kW, ok naman daw ayon sa feedback nila maging iilan sa mga solar pv parts supplier mismo, nire-recommend nila eto.
      Pero hindi ko pa nasubukan, at dahil dyan hindi ko maire-rekomenda. 😊👍☕️

    QUESTION Sir Jf, Lets say low budget ako so ang gagamitin ko is half ng pv array of 6kw. and after a year ko pa madagdagan para sa full capacity ( additional PV ) wala po ba ako maging problema sa output ?

      Pwede din naman, kasi dalawa naman ang MPPT tracker ng Deye na independent ang bawat isa. At walang magiging problema dahil sigurado din naman na nasa ideal voltage ang magiging Voc/Vmp ng 3kW PV string.

    When it comes to pv connections, mas better po ba high ampere(parallel) or high voltage(series) connection to charge the battery faster? If based po sa 2-275w panel at 40a mppt scc which connection ng pv will charge the battery faster? Or it will just base on the SCC charging current lang po? Regardless on the output values from the panel connections.

      Good day. Ang CALB (China Aviation Lithium Battery) ay isang manufacturer o supplier ng LiFePO4 prismatic battery, samantalang ang "Cyclindrical" LiFePO4 na binanggit nyo ay isang "type" o tipo ng LiFePO4 battery. Para lang po makita nyo ang relevance ng dalawang bagay na nakapaloob sa inyong comment.
      Sa inyong tanong naman na kung alin ang mas mainam gamitin, ang sagot ay prismatic cells. Madaling buuin sa mga matataas na capacity at mga 48V or higher voltage system na solar setup at meron etong mas mahabang "lifecycle."

    Sir JF, Salamat po dahil sa mga tutorial po ninyo nakapag set up po ako. 40a srne po gamit ko na scc, pwede po kaya ako mag max na 600w panel sa 12v set up kahit 550w lang po ang max?

      Walang anuman. Ang maipapayo ko ay huwag lumampas sa specs ng 40A SRNE. Kung papanoorin mo ng buo ang video, maliwanag na binigyan ko ng diin ang bagay na yan, dahil isa yan sa mga nakasanayan ng mga DIYers at itinuturo din ng ibang mga vlogger sa kanilang channel. Hindi dapat.

      @@JFLegaspi follow up question po nag average po ng nasa 550kwh to 600kwh ang consume po namin sa kuryente buwan buwan, meron po kmi 1pc 2.5 aircon at 1 hp aircon sa kwarto, tapos ung mga usual na appliance na po kung susumahin daily nasa 18.3 or 20kwh ang consume ng kuryente. kakayanin po kaya ng 5.5kwh hybrid inverter ang daily consume po namin? pasensiya na po inaaral pa po kc mga videos nyo po at madami pa po ako hindi alam.     Sir JF last question po. Yung Hi offgrid po ay may dual mppt input. Pero nung binuksan ko yung casing ng inverter, mag ka parallel lang po pala sila, umikot lang sila parehas sa bilig na magnet then yung both + at - ay naging isa. Tama po ba na hindi dual mppt ito? Also parang ito na yata yung connection kung mag parallel ako ng 2p? Di na gagamit ng Y connector.

      Hindi totoong 2 MPPT tracker kung naka-parallel ang dalawang set ng MC4. Kadalasan ay sa specs pa lang na nakasulat sa datasheet ng hybrid inverter, malalaman na agad kung ilang mppt tracker. 😊👍☕️

      Good day. Tulad ng 100W na solar panel na merong 18V sa Vmp, kailangan neto ng SCC para makontrol ang boltahe at ng hindi ma-over voltage ang battery. Kahit na may BMS ang battery, mas mainam pa din at safe na may charge controller.
