In the subbed version of the anime, when Jaden first used them he refers to them as his new HEROs from space so they could easily retrain them then give them a clause where they are always treated as E-HEROs. This would help with the synergy of the 2 archetypes and would let E-HERO stand on its own with out the Aster Phoenix portion which is personally what I'd like to see.

(Experienced Neos/Neo-Spacians/ HERO Duelist Here) The Reason Neo-Spacian Glow Moss doesn't be played as often because His effect(3) all 3 of them are pretty much "Bottom Of The Barrel." And He Doesn't do enough Impact on the Duel compared to his other Neo-Spacians Comrades.
I really wish the Neo Spacian monsters would get retrains to take advantage of the new support.

Yeah, the Neo Spacians were underpowered in the GX era, except for Grand Mole but now they are just irrelevant.
