Virginia Football State Semi-final 2022 Madison Warhawks @ Fairfax Lions, Home of Gamer, Tony Rojas

Fairfax is unstoppable. They have mowed down 5 of the best teams in Northern Virginia. They are too strong on the interior line on both sides of the ball for everyone in the region. Add to that, future Penn State mega-star, Tony Rojas carrying the ball and roaming the defense, they are a sure bet to win the 6A state semi-final game and move on to an appearance in the Championship game. Their opponent, the 2021 version of Fairfax, the Madison Warhawks. They were the defending State Semi-Finalist from Northern Virginia. But, after an 0-3 start to their 2022 football season, the physically brutalizing Madison Warhawks of 2021 were overlooked, forgotten by many. But, as they have done for the past 7 years, they continued to go back to work and week by week, patiently dismantle every opponent they faced including dethroning the top running back in the region and putting the Centreville Wildcats on notice that they were still the big dog in 6D District 1.
