The SETO INLAND SEA is the body of water separating three of the four main Islands of Japan... The HONSHU, SHIKOKU, and KYUSHU.

SHIMANAMI KAIDO is the best Cycling Route in Japan's Inner Island.
This cycling road is consists of 6 Islands and 6 Bridges across the SETO INLAND SEA. That is between IMABARI CITY and ONOMICHI CITY.

1. SHIOMACHI SHOTENGAI
Nostalgic shopping area.
A Traditional shopping street stretching 600 meters from Setoda Port.
Shiomachi Shotengai is also Part of the Shimanami-Kaido's Onomichi City. Situated overlooking the gateway to Ikuchi Island.

2. SETODA PORT
NOTE: You can end your journey by riding a FERRY that can accommodate hundred Bikes and people in just one transport.
We rode the ferry exactly 17:00 on our way back to ONOMICHI CITY.
It took us less than an hour to reach our destiny.

3. BIKE RENTAL : There are many bikes that you can rent in the place of ONOMICHI such as electric bikes and mountain bikes.
But we only eyed for one Rental Shop that is nearby the Ferry Boat.
Please ask the locals so you wont get lost.
